Just saying, that even if her intentions are selfish, there is a certain silver lining for the kid in all of it. I'd hate to be a 17 year old kid getting calls from 30-70 year old men at 11pm about where I'm going to college.

No ****. We sure as **** critique these kids for the way they handle themselves with their press conferences, tweets and pick-a-hat foolishness but **** their world is some ***-backward vacuum. And in turn it's also understandable, not condoning it, why some parents get big heads as well. This whole process is madness.

OMG618 it really doesn't have to be madness. I think it can become madness if you're not decisive or if you're prone to change your mind. If you make your decision and say I'm done I'm sure you'll get a few more calls, but if you stick to your word that your mind is made up a vast majority of the calls will stop. Every year we have a recruit who is solid like Duke, and every year we have a kid like Northrup.

I read in an interview where Howard said that he had been to UM many times, and therefore he had no need to visit. That was a month or so ago. Kudos to Al Golden and staff for getting him to visit. Let's hope his coming reflects serious intent on his part.

I'd say Eddie Goldman's family has done a pretty solid job of handling recruiting. Its 9 days til NSD and you haven't heard a peep out of them.

Parents need to assert themselves to provide stability to the recruiting process while not trying to live their kid's life for them.

I think Goldman and his folks are first class folks, careful, reasonable, and well centered.

For that reason, I think Goldman is coming here, and I think when Tracy really thinks about it, he'll be here too.
