His old girl thinks Coaches really give a **** about her huh? Lulz. Soon as he signs that dotted line to the Gators they finna ask her to leave the premises. Old girl liking the attention more than the actual talented kid.
 
Hate the mom being so involved.....these kids always end up being a headache. That said, I hope it works out because the kid can play.

To be fair, there is something to be said about this woman basically shielding her underage son from the media pressures of being a 5* kid. In some regards, its commendable even if the intention isn't pure.

Not only do these kids have to receive phone calls and visits and and all of this attention that needs to be somewhat reciprocated by college coaches, which can and will put a full court press on a kid to uneasy and awkward levels...but then they have to put up with the now national and local media trying to get coverage on these kids 24/7 that can also be uneasy and awkward and downright creepy.

Then, we fans get on these kids for not being on top of their academics...it's tough when you got these kids being hounded from 3pm to 10pm+ every night by every angle.

In that regard...good for T. Howard's mom for deflecting a lot of the unnecessary hounding of her son, if that is indeed her purpose.

she's not that bad, according to one of our coaches. She is involved but nowhere near some of the horror stories out there.

He did the gaytor chump at every game last season.. He looks overrated if you ask me... I like that Hope kid better... let him go gainesville and ride the pine while seeing all his friends get drafted in the 1st and 2nd round...

Kid is not overated.

With the right coach, this kid could be a monster.

If he's smart, he'll get early playing time with another stud on the other side of the field.

NFL scouts will always pay special attention to Miami players regardless of record.

Just saying, that even if her intentions are selfish, there is a certain silver lining for the kid in all of it. I'd hate to be a 17 year old kid getting calls from 30-70 year old men at 11pm about where I'm going to college.
