He wants to win it all, not just the Coastal or ACC. The argument is we need Top 5 talent to be in the playoffs every year, and not just show up (e.g., like ND) but actually win a few games.
While I agree with that, I think a very good chunk of the front runner recruits, especially the 5 stars, want to see wins racking up before they come to Miami, so we it will be next to impossible for us to be a Top 5 recruiting class for at least the next couple of years.
Mario's the best. But I doubt a kid like Alex Leatherwood or Pat Surtain would have come here even with Mario as HC this class. After a 10+ W season or two, that changes.
