Bama, Auburn, Tenn, Notre Lame, USC & Miami were not required to disclose how much they spend on FBall recruiting.Bama and OSU not being on this list is hilarious. They're buying players left and right.
And Oh St spent just a little over 940K last year in recruiting. Most other schools aren't spending as much because their AD's don't think they should. Some would say they can't afford it, but that really depends on how the program allocates it's funds for each fiscal year.
Some schools spend more on Basketball crootin' than Football, so it's all entirely up to the AD & administration on how much goes where.
Part of the reason why Petrino got let go at LVille (aside from having such a bad seasons & being a total scumbag) is he doubled their recruiting budget to over $1mill a year & their AD basically told him he was spending their resources dry lol, which was taking money outta their BBall budget.
