Top 10 Recruiting Budgets

Bama and OSU not being on this list is hilarious. They're buying players left and right.
Bama, Auburn, Tenn, Notre Lame, USC & Miami were not required to disclose how much they spend on FBall recruiting.

And Oh St spent just a little over 940K last year in recruiting. Most other schools aren't spending as much because their AD's don't think they should. Some would say they can't afford it, but that really depends on how the program allocates it's funds for each fiscal year.

Some schools spend more on Basketball crootin' than Football, so it's all entirely up to the AD & administration on how much goes where.

Part of the reason why Petrino got let go at LVille (aside from having such a bad seasons & being a total scumbag) is he doubled their recruiting budget to over $1mill a year & their AD basically told him he was spending their resources dry lol, which was taking money outta their BBall budget.

Please......... Those budgets do NOT include Foundation expenditures because the Foundation is a "separate legal entity".

Alabama and Georgia spend $3M to $5M a year on illicit payments to recruits. Georgia is at least acting smarter than 'Bama and allocating sizable capital to "public recruiting activities". Neither school needs capital from the audited Athletic Department budget, but they need to "maintain appearances."

Those that play in the SEC are dancing for the KKK. Florida players that venture to SEC teams are the equivalent of mid-tier Vegas whores!

Surprised that Clemson is that high.

It really is a smallish university.

Used to be about 15,000 students, nowadays it's closer to 20.

Cool stadium, though (used to work in NW South Carolina many years ago).

Not surprised that Clemson has been on a run.

The school has always been known for its defense. Always.

Scared money don't make none...

They have to recruit out of state....Not surprised at all.

Add to it they are one of the BAG SCHOOLS....They PAYYYY...those type of schools will always have a huge recruiting budget.

Not sure why Bama isnt on the list ...maybe its because alot of it is covered by donrs/foundations or whatever else...because them f*cks waste money yearly with helicopters, private jets and the such to come to s.fla to watch a non relevant spring game or other b.s

That’s insane that some schools spend more money recruiting 3-5 kids per year in B-ball than 25 in football.

Yeah it's all based on which sport makes your school the most money.

For program's like Kentucky, Duke, Kansas, LVille, UNC, & others, BBall is the cash cow so they get the largest portion of the allocated funds. Memphis for instance doesn't spend a dime on Football recruiting like upwards of 80% of their budget goes to Basketball lol.

Washington only spent a little over 750K last year on recruiting, they get the most out of not spending as much as some other schools.

Bama, Auburn, ND, USC, Tenn & Miami didn't have to disclose the amount they spend each year.

Miami, ND & USC because they're private schools, why Bama, Auburn & Tenn didn't is unknown. But it's estimated both Bama & Auburn if they had to disclose how much they spend it would be right up at the top with UGA, TX & Clemson.
