I could tell from day 1 that Restrepo would be a good one just by seeing his effort fielding punts. Was always looking to make a play, be needed more experience but the will to be a playmaker was there. I see the same with Horton except he has the body to be WR1. I hope he gets the ball more as I think he could be the stud WR that people think we currently lack.

Horton JoJo Ny and Ray Ray is going be elite next year! The debate will be who will be throwing them the ball

Restrepo caught 7-of-8 targets for 163 yards. Also had that big 77-yard catch on the final drive. Big 4th down catch. Dude money

UM’s defensive backfield — and the propensity for allowing big plays — remain the Achilles heel of this team. And there were four primary culprits against Cal, per Pro Football Focus.
On a night when the Canes gave up four plays of at least 50 yards, UM’s starting safeties and its two transfer corners all struggled.

Former Marshall cornerback Dyoni Hill permitted two of three targets against him to be caught for 54 yards and a touchdown.

The only pass thrown against former Vanderbilt cornerback Jadais Richard was caught for 56 yards.

Three of five passes thrown against safety Mishael Powell were caught for 77 yards.

And two of three passes thrown against safety Jaden Harris were caught for 81 yards and a touchdown.

On the positive side, all four passes thrown against cornerback Daryl Porter Jr. were incomplete. And freshman cornerback OJ Frederique wasn’t targeted.

I live here in Nashville near Murfreesboro where he went to high school. That school is an average one and he didn't have gaudy numbers in school. They bleed orange (and deep throat Bama) over here. UT may not have recruited him seriously enough. Their bad. Who says he would have developed the same there though
