Tonight's game is the most important to the program in 3 years we need to ball out to prove we are here to stay and the U is almost all the way back. Lets go canes beat Teddy and ****** Louisville time to step up and put on for your city and get us back to the promise land. This is step one along with many other steps lets Rock tonight.

Pass rush is very vital tonight. Give Teddy time and he will be shooting fish in a barrel. I wanna see some disguised blitz packages tonight for starters.
 
I think that night was a couple weeks back in the pouring rain then also the week after, but that's just me...

Lulz at the "swagger meter". It won't and shouldn't jump due to this game. Moreover, swagger is (a) overrated and (b) earned in games that occur on or after January 1st.

Eh I disagree sure those games were big and had huge implications ACCCG but we haven't been to a bowl game in years so I tend to think this is a much bigger game. Just for that fact alone and because of all the time and preparation leading up to this game, all the extra practices too. It doesn't hurt that its against the so called next Jacory Harris either.

Disagree.

The 2000 Gator Bowl was a very important step for the program, and it felt that way at the time. Not saying that this team is that close, but it can certainly use the confidence boost of a big bowl win. This program hasn't won a meaningful bowl since 2004.

Nationally televised game against a ranked opponent, chance to win 10 games for first time in a decade, chance to beat a team that has been making inroads to South Florida recruiting, first bowl game in 3 years.....and it's meaningless?
