Great pick-up for the Canes. Welcome to the U, Tommy. After watching all those vicious pancakes he doles out, he looks like at least a strong 4 star to me with plenty of potential to get drafted high if he works really hard and commits to his craft. With Mario and Coach Mirabal coaching him up, that looks quite likely and the future is bright. We will all be rooting for you, Tommy. Great day to be a Cane.

He should end up at least a high 3 star. There aren’t many guys out there with that type of size/athleticism who aren’t carrying much bad weight at all. The fact that UF wanted him and, more importantly, Mario/Mirabal prioritized him in a year they are recruiting the best of the best OL in the country should indicate this kid is way better than a low 3 star.

Gotta love getting another massive OL. Also gotta figure he SHOULD get a ratings bump committing to Mario and Mirabal who've shown they develop players. I mean, if that's the way it works.. his prospects now are far better than they were with the gaytor.

Big fan of this kid. Said in another thread that, in the pre-Mario era, this might be the best OL we recruit and we'd have to hope and pray he could help us at RT. In this new, surreal world, he gets to immediately slide inside and, hey, if he cuts weight and polishes those feet, maybe (not needed) they give him a look at RT. I think he's an extremely underrated Guard prospect.

Him and Frankie will need to sit for a year or two to gain strength but they both have the size and athleticism to make a impact. Just hope both are patient enough to sit in the lab and learn under Mario and Mirabal. Francis and hopefully Samson will be able to make a early impact.
