Lane the only one at FAU to have an over .500 record at FAU. Since Howard they only hit 1 out of 5 coaches, yeah I would say thats a place coaches go to disappear

FAU ADs are enamored by the big name. They should go find a hungry FCS up and comer or a top OC/DC at a lower level P4 as opposed to recycling.

I’m a big fan of the D2 and D3 playoffs, I watch every year. It’s hard to believe that you can’t find one of those guys that’s had a ton of success that couldn’t be successful at FAU.

Because FAU nad comp some times would be picky with those kids u see going to akron and ball state. Sh*t is weird but ive seen it...

What FAU should be is portal and juco heavy and offering all c ounty guys from dade, broward, palm an poach the north east including those mass and connecticut prep schools.

This years fau class was shaping up good but not sure how it will hold up now.
 
FAU alum here. Heard him on the radio a few weeks ago and he sounded very very bad. I don’t want to accuse him of substance abuse or anything but it would be a decent excuse.

Nebraska just was a terrible fit, look at Rhule, going to be 7-5 at best

That school is done doing anything significant

I dunno mi amigo.

Indiana's the doormat of all doormats, but they're 10-1 with a shot at the CFP after their new coach rebuilt the roster with a bunch of G5 transfers and then coached 'em up.

Imagine if Nebraska had a similar type rebound with a top-tier coach. Their recruiting could go an uptick that might not be possible for IU.

They've been down for a while, but the Huskers do have football in their DNA
