Fact. I will always believe between his roomie and whatever else was "extended" to him on his last second UT visit is the real reason. That was obvious when he threw out the classic BS line about being guaranteed a starting spot at UM...and then spewing BS further about at least he gets to compete at UT. I couldn't stop laughing.

He ranks #3 on my list of my most paid attention to recruiting follows.... #1 WW #2 DJ (grassy days) I know antone fought someone supposedly during his visit and his mom was ****ed he didn't choose us?

Thank God that UT got this little ******.

He'd have showed up here at UM with a nickname like that (probably given to him by his roommate/boyfriend) he would have been run off first day.
 
This kid has revealed himself to be a total mental midget and borderline weirdo.

If we had any depth whatsoever I would not care the least about him. This is only an issue because of the garbage that olden left us with.

I did NOT read thru this thread so please excuse me if my take is late, but...


From what I would guess, some current players *may* have told him something to the effect of, "It's been rough here for a few years but things *appear* to be changing..."

And an 18 year old child who needed something to sway him one direction or the other translated that into something that sounds like the OP's post.


Also - Having following Krootin' for way too many decades now, I can say that more often than not, kids who play the late flip flop game tend to under-perform their HS ranking at the next level. Just an observation, not a prediction.
 
There is some truth that a few people thought he was soft and called him out on it.. My guess is that even if he has talent he rubbed people the wrong way.

Could this be why they told him not to come? With cager saying he was too soft for the workouts...this could make sense.
 
Last I heard it wasn't just Cager that thought he was soft... Sometimes things happen behind the scenes...
