Richt and staff went to visit him for a school visit and in home, he canceled the day of the visit. Later makes up excuse that a tornado forced the cancelation, does not reschedule. In short, he gone.
Well no matter how many bible quotes this coaching staff throws out there weekly they don't have a pot to **** in or a window to throw it out of. Recruiting is a dirty game and it works both ways with coaches and recruits. A kid cancels a last minute in home visit after kissing the staff in the mouth all season and later acting like he lives in Tornado Alley is no different than the way Richt and Brown "played or forced out" a 1,000 yard home grown player in Yearby and then get on an interview call and act like he didn't notice the players playing time had diminished. Later to justify the action by stating that he would not stop a player who wants to better themselves by leaving. It's the same thing. You just have to take it for what it is and move on. And yawl know I don't bash the coaches but what comes around goes around, I guess... LMAO!!!
He didnt force yearby out because he was gone regardless.

It makes no sense that he and his brother need to go to the same school. Why exactly can't he go to Miami and his brother still go to UGA?
Also, if you clearly wanted to go to a school (Miami), but your mom wants you to go to a different one (UGA), you should definitely choose whats going to make you happy over what will make your mom happy. And this doesn't just apply to Holloman, this applies to every college student.
And if it was the case he just wants to be closer to home, then he has just been stringing us along the entire time including scheduling an in home visit, then cancelling the day of. Whether you're willing to attend a college away from home or not is something you know very early in the decision making process.
In all respect, I think you misunderstood.
"Allow his brother to get a free education", as in his brother goes to UGA for free as an incentive of him signing with them. So no, his brother can't go to UGA for free while he comes to Miami. That's why I said it was a "family decision".
Go to UGA:
-Brother gets free education and walks on to team
-Stays closer to family
-Makes mom happy by relieving her of financial burdens for his brother (family has to pay for him if he doesn't ride the coat tail)
-Makes mom happy by staying close and going to the school she is a fan of
-Gets to represent his home state
Go to Miami
-Actually become a good WR but that's beside the point
-His brother would be given a serious opportunity to earn a football scholarship...as a walk on. No guarantee's, and no financial support. Family will be expected to pay full tuition and what-not.
-Moves a state away from his family (Not really that big of a distance but his mom may think so).
-Commits to a school that he was only initially interested in because of a close friend (DJ)
If tuition costs are a problem, which is completely understandable, it would still make no sense that his brother wouldn't still attend UGA. UGA is an in-state public school, which would cost no more than $20k/yr. After federal, state, and school grants that would AT LEAST get cut in half. And he could still walk on to the team and try to earn a scholarship. If the coaches would be able to get his brother in for free via need based/academic scholarships (Which how do you even know that's what's happening?), it's very likely that he'd be able to get those same scholarships regardless.
Secondly everything you said would involve him choosing a school that wouldn't make him happy, and instead make others in his family happy. And that is a perfect recipe for someone to want to transfer after 2 years. Like I said, choosing a college should be a selfish choice, especially for an athlete where you don't have to worry about the cost of attendance. But I really just think he had no intention of actually coming here, which is also fine because he's a high school football recruit who probably liked all the recent attention he was getting. I'm just simply stating it appears he was never actually close to coming here.
The dude blamed it on a tornado? What an *** hat.

My brother lives in Atlanta. Not sure how the timing corresponds with Holloman's scheduled visit, but there was legitimately was a tornado there today. People being urged to seek shelter, etc. Could be an excuse, but maybe not.
People need to dry their panties here
Whether this kid comes or not, he's a good prospect, he's from GA, likes UM, Richt has credibility, UGA is obviously a player. Parents wanting a kid to stay home helps us sometimes, hurts us sometimes. Given the local talent in So Fla, I'll take it as more helpful than hurtful, on balance.
The weather was brutal in GA today. Maybe that's real. Maybe excuse. Let Richt do his thing at this point.
I like Holloman as a prospect. Be happy to get him. Not sad if we don't. No need to rip him either way, IMO.

Only problem with that horseshyt fabricated story is MIATL rained on their facqy parade by breaking the cancellation news before anyone heard about a tornado.
Who the fck goes to a shelter before a weather event anyway? Bullshyt sorry *** excuse. Did they move into the shelter permanently and can never take any visitors again? Dude looks like a cumbag now. Dummies shouldn't make up dumb stories.

Exactly. Tornados aren't like the hurricanes I grew up with. When there's a tornado in Virginia there isn't a lot of warning time like a hurricane. These things just hit randomly. It's bullshît.
