Things have been fairly quiet with him. Any word on if he has received an in-home visit or when he will be taking his OV here?

His recruitment has been quiet the entire time I would say. Last thing I read is he wanted to try and take a visit in January.

Its now a FSU & UM race, fsu is in it because it is closer to LA, he has a daughter and the family is pressuring him to stay close. If not he would have commit to UM already. But he wants out of LA badly, an loves UM.

Go Canes

From what i heard on my other board he and standish dobard are supposed to take a OV together to the U...... When... That's what i dont know

Seems LSU/Bama are completely out of it now.

Let's let Dobard get in his ear and reel him in.

Dobard seems like a "duke-type" recruiter...

bring the whole family down on the visit....kid included...we got a few guys on the team with kids....i love to bring in Louisiana kids....would love to land Williams in this class...add to it he comes from a big time program.

This kid is impossible to get on the phone. Trust me, I'm trying.

He might be one of those where we hear from coaches or those around him up until NSD.

I am very wary of this kid.

Any top level kid in LA that LSU stays away from is usually a sign that the kid has issues.

Until a highly ranked source comes out and says "Tim Williams has issues"

You ever thought maybe LSU feels Beckwith, Gilmore, and Herron fit their system better?

It's the same **** we have to hear about Dobard. "Dobard must have red flags if LSU didn't want him" Maybe they just feel DeSean Smith fits better than Dobard. Or maybe Dobard just felt more at home at Miami.

You know... the glass is half full sometimes.

I was told last week that while his grades aren't incredible, they should be qualifying

Very weirdly quiet recruitment of such a highly rated prospect. Never have felt good about him coming here.

Very quite recruitment equates to either a silent or ship sailing. With this kid, I'm betting on the latter.

Like Ed Reed and Reggie Wayne

IIRC, they weren't real highly recruited guys. Both high 2/3 star type of kids.

Definitely not highly rated guys. Your recollection is correct.

yeah but I highly doubt that an Ed Reed or Wayne would be overlooked in today's recruiting environment. Recruiting is a big business now and its 100x tougher to discover diamonds in the rough.

FSU will offer his kid to enroll in their doctorate program to get Tim. However, the kid is already too smart for thay
