I could see it being tomorrow. I think they like to do it on Fridays. Just like companys fire people, getting fired it sucks but at least it's Friday.

I have no bone to pick with Tim Reynolds, but the whole "All I can tell you" and such is pointless. So he would have more insight than anybody else why? Not likely.
 
With all the bungling and malfeasance perpetrated by their fake investigators and fraudulent enforcement staff, I highly doubt that the ncaa is looking for a ton of publicity with this announcement. They, and everyone else, know that they fcked this one up in a major way and that it's a total embarrassment to them. Wouldn't surprise me to see them want to announce it on a Friday afternoon, so it'll get washed away with the weekend.

I believe he is responding to people tweeting at him. Cant fault him for stating what he thinks.

People need to stop worrying about the NCAA.

When the news drop, we'll be the VERY last to know.
 
I'm left wondering if there is a negotiation on a settlement going on with the NCAA and UM's legal team. Hard to believe they are going to wait until January, and so this is going to happen in season. Would not surprise me if UM gave the NCAA some good reasons to break precedent and settle. All speculation on my part.

No chance. That ship has sailed. I believe Emmert explored that before the hearing, but he couldn't muster the votes. I think Franchise is dead on. We'll get an announcement tomorrow.

NCAA would be beyond stupid to go this far with it and settle. The more likely scenario is that there's some behind closed doors discussions between UM the NCAA about what UM can live with sanctions-wise because we're not going to skate. The NCAA then announces the sanctions. Coming up with a settlement now is highly unlikely because if they wanted to do that they would have done it months ago

I'm with dy. I don't see any chance of that going on. They might have agreed with UM to announce it on Friday so that the story will disappear quickly. But that's all they'd be agreeing on at this point.
