Naw. They ran like 3 plays jet sweep, gt counter, and qb power all game against UM. I’ve seen more wrinkles off those 3 plays from GT this half than all game last week.

That game was like the Georgia Tech game in 2008. We knew that they were going to run the triple option, but lacked the discipline or preparation to stop it.

It wasn't just Miami however. They put 409 yards rushing the following week against Georgia (#13) in another victory.

The following year both teams were ready for them, and both teams won. As for Miami, from 2009 onward against that triple option we gave up:

2010: 308 yards rushing
2011: 134 yards rushing
2012: 287 yards rushing
2013: 335 yards rushing
2014: 318 yards rushing
2015: 314 yards rushing
2016: 267 yards rushing
2017: 226 yards rushing
2018: 231 yards rushing

So I'd expect that Miami will be ready for that all-running attack next year. That said, I'm sure Georgia Tech's coach will pull something else from the mothballs to catch us off guard. Like the Houston Cougars run n shoot, or the spinner offense, or the A11 offense.
