Thoughts on the VT game

we won the turnover battle 4-0 against a team with no talent and we had a 3 point lead woth 3 minutes left...Think about that

When one sentence sums everything up perfectly.

They gave us the football game with turnovers and dumb penalties. They had a QB who couldn't run or pass. The talent gap was startling. And we were struggling up by 3 late in the game.

We should've won that game by 40 with a competent coach.

My takeaway is that as long as we dont hire Cristobal or Schiano then we should have a great chance to win The Coastal next year.

Golden deserves NOTHING but a pink slip. The "cloud" was minimal. The loss of scholarships- laughable. Golden has demonstrated a total lack of coaching ability. With 7 NFL drafted last year, he won SIX games. Are you kidding? He literally could not coach for any HS team in the tri- county area. He has succeeded in destroying an adoring fan base. He has ZERO signature wins. Never won a Bowl Game. Has a losing record against teams with winning records at the end of the season. Had enough reasons to fire the bums?
There are many more reasons to show Golden the door. But, I am sure you can think of some too.

Would love to see where OP does that.

If we depend on 25 TRUE freshmen to win games that is an indication there is a serious problem. Additionally, should we wait until 2018 (when the class of 2016 are juniors) to decide whether Golden should go or not?
