You have to imagine someone is out there lurking and ready to snipe down these obviously cheating schools. It's getting to the point where I would almost rather watch the NFL where there is a salary cap and winners and losers are determined by good and bad decisions and playmakers not who can pay the most to someone's family and friends.
This is a real problem for the NCAA because every year Clemson vs Bama is not good for the sport, but it is real good for Clemson and Bama. The investment for bama is worth it though, they don't even have to give bags out any longer to get enough talent, they may do it anyway the same reason Nixon had the Watergate break in, because Nixon was going to win that election handily anyway, not even Saban is comfortable even when he leads wire to wire.
The only way this ends is an NCAA investigation that Ray Charles could lead. It will basically be hey Bama, it's time for you to go away for awhile like you did after Bear Bryant, come see us in 15 years when you recover. If not the interest in the sport will wane because the outcome is predetermined. If you investigated the whole SEC and put several of them on probation you would new life into the sport with a free for all from Walla Walla to Miami where everyone has a better chance, that would grow the sport, this Bama every year crap with an occasional challenge from another SEC school and Clemson thing is not appealing.
Dynasties worked in the NFL a long time ago but now you can turn your team around and win the SuperBowl in no time like the Eagles last year, maybe San Diego or KC this year, that is entertaining, that is why sports are the highest draw on TV because no one knows the ending of the show. But we all know Bama will win this year and we are pretty sure they will win next year after beating UGA or UF in the championship game of the SEC. We know Clemson will win the ACC, we know Clemson will probably play Bama for the title next year, I mean that is freaking boring, to the point where why would I even waste my time watching the game on Monday night, I already know Bama will win it.
