Thoughts on Slaton and Herbert

dont think we get Herbert or Slaton honestly. THink we should be all in on Slaton though as a guard...and recruit him HARD

Would love to get /Donaldson/ flip Telfort/Hillery/ Dykstra

That would be a solid to good Class. With Scaife as the center of the future in the next class

Herbert reminds me of one of Trickett's linemen from FSU. Lean, athletic, quick off the ball and good in space. I don't see him as a Miami tackle, more of an inside guy to me. Slaton is a monster.

In a perfect world we sweep Donaldson, Telfort and Slaton. We would look great coming off the bus like we did with Stoutland's guys.
 
The money position. OL's need the frame just like a corner has to have the quicks. Does not mean I want height. Slow and tall helps no one. Many things can be taught. The next thing I want my big guys to have is the dancer feet. Next I want them smart. We have had a lot of sacks because guys are not seeing the stunt or delayed blitz. Nastiness is lower on the prerequisites if you do not have feet and a brain. Getting into a fight with the DL's after they have crushed your QB again does nothing but put you in 3rd and 20 situations.

That line would be YUUUUGEEE...Richt should atleast be able to run block with that incoming class...n add to it Gauthier hasnt look bad in run block

Don't forget OL's Caleb Chandler or Derek Kerstetter either one or ideally both would be good pick ups in addition to flipping Telfort back.

Do we even have a shot with the latter two?
 
Nothing that we didn't already know...what everyone wants to know is does UM land these two? That's the only question and sole discussion regarding these two players.
