does his mother have a good relationship with Jimbo? (who Big6 did really talk to, this was Coleys recruit) sure why not
does his mother thing Jimbo is AWESOME and she would love for her son to play fro him? sure
does his mom prefer FSU over Miami? not even close! she may not have a preference .. maybe.. but 1 thing is for sure she does NOT prefer FSU over Miami.

She called earlier today while on the way up, and once when they arrived.

interestingly enough, he had a great opportunity to "call" coach golden when they came to sun life this year. when carradine went down jimbo was looking at his play book or some **** while carradine reached for someone to lend some support.

I find it odd that she'd be calling him to talk about the visit if she's on the visit with him.

The update is that his mom, who is by all accounts a Canes fan, and who loves her son very much, wants to ship him off to Tallahassee where she'll rarely see him and never get to see him play instead of having him a 15 minute ride away. Word is also that his mom loves Jambutt Fishpants so much (with, of course, no quotes from her to support that) that she'd rather have her son go away than stay down here with the evil Al GolDon despite probably rarely meeting Jambutt.

Take note also of Jambutt's character versus GolDon's. His assistants are jumping ship at light speed, and dycane has informed us that everyone up there, including admins, hates the guy and his treacherous wife. Meanwhile, a corch of Jambutt's wanted to get away from him so badly that he took a lateral gig with Al, and fsu couldn't even lure him to stay with the prospect of more money. That's right. And that guy also happens to be the guy who was recruiting Thomas to go to fsu. That's a glowing endorsement of Jambutt's character if I've ever seen one.
