Thomas Brown doing serious work in 2019

Embarrassment of riches. I'll be happy with whoever we land this cycle tbh. But if i had to choose.
Sanders
Richards (versatility for multiple positions)
Crowley

If we take three, I agree on those choices.

how exactly do we get left out of early contenders for Cain yet we are the team with the most traction?

Rivalry games aren’t usually blow outs but I think we beat them by atleast 14 this year.

I agree, but as long as the atmosphere is electric which I fully expect it to be and we win then that will go a long way.

All in on Sanders and Crowley. Give me Richards and McIntosh as ATH and let’s go.

Btw; Thomas is a great recruiter and a tremendous coach

I think DJ staying at RB makes it much more difficult for Brown in 2019. I really wish Walton hadn’t gone down for obvious reasons but would have also preferred to see DJ in the slot over Harley. My biggest hope is that Brown can manage a stable of backs the same way coach Sol did. Keep them humble while keeping them hungry and if he can we can really stack those chips high.

The writing is pretty much on the wall for Choc and Burns.

They’ll be great scout guys

DJ will get carries at RB but I expect him to be moved all over the offense depending on the matchup. I'm sure we'll see Dallas in the slot as well as at QB in that Wildcat package.

Why? I haven't been following any 19 RBs yet but I remember that Cain was a very popular name until recently. What happened? Why have people cooled on Cain?
I think the cooling is mutual between our staff and Cain. He knows we have prioritized his teammate Trey Sanders over him and he is not going to the same school as Trey again. Everyone says he is a step slower, but is that step still better than the rest of our RB board is the question. In a weird way he may be slow playing us?

Is Richards really trying to be a RB? Does any actual staff think that’s the best position for him?

There was an interview with him a little while back where all he talked about was going somewhere where there was no competition on the depth chart. He wanted to be the main guy immediately.

He’s good, but there’s better options that aren’t afraid of competition. Just my opinion though, that depth chart crap is a major red flag.
