This linemen situation with the heritage kids makes no sense

Been seeing more and more SFla kids transfer after a year or two when they go to programs outside Florida and especially far away like Michigan or the west coast.

Has Rumph delivered ANY AH kids?

Cant make them come here. Slaton said rumph is the reason they are looking at miami but guys have to do whats best for them.

Basically saying we love coach rumph but we aint going to miami.

This linemen situation with the heritage kids makes no sense to me. Michigan currently has 2 three star tackles committed and 2 four star tackle committed counting the heritage tackle Herbert. The lead for 5 star Isiah wilson who many say is the top OT in the country. They also lead for 4 star Army all american OT Chuck Filiaga.

The current two deep at Michigan has a true sophmore at left tackle in grant newsome. The right tackle is a redshirt senior whos back up is a 4 star army all american freshman that would start for most other teams an will start next year at right tackle. The current right guard is a senior, and his back is a redshirt junior. The left guard is a redshirt senior, but his back up is a 4 star army all american Michael Onwenu that is redshirting as a freshman.

For kids who value playing time this does not make any sense to me. There is a reason Michigan did not send any one down to heritage the other week and choose to go everywhere else. I hope these kids or their parents sit down and really evaluate his situation.

Ugh. Does it occur to you that what kids want doesn't change based on what we have? Our depth is crap so you're saying that these kids are stupid for not prioritizing playing time. When our depth is good you'll say they should prioritize playing for an established coach with a shot at the NC. And if they're true ballers they won't shy away from the competition and the chance to learn in a great system.

What do you think goes through a 5* mind when Saban sits in his living room saying "we're the best and we want you?" Harbaugh is hot right now and he's doing the same. "Come play for us if you're one of the best, or go play for Miami if you're afraid."

they are committing wherever the hype is.. Did yous ee Herbert's commitment video?. Add to it Heritage has a kid up there...they are more likely to go to fsu than here.

Different breed of kids there..they are "RECRUITED" to heritage from other schools n then treated like the man at AH...they want to go to colleges that are the same..and we dont have that here really...

Kids don't give a f*ck about Playing time, they just say that because it sounds good in interviews.

The only thing that matters is relationships & $$$...

Fort Lauderdale (FL) American Heritage 2017 four-star offensive tackle Kai-Leon Herbert says Florida, Louisville and Miami (FL) are still recruiting him but tells 247Sports National Analyst Ryan Bartow that he remains fully solid to Michigan.

"It was 111,000 people screaming loud," he said of his recent official visit to campus. "It was an indescribable experience. A lot of them even knew who I was. This visit was more about my parents and them needing to see it than anything.

They got to finally meet the coaches in person and they were exactly as they represented themselves over the phone and through contact. It was a big deal."

Herbert will take an official visit to Kansas for their game against Texas, but doesn't have any other official visits set at this time.

"That's up to my parents," Herbert said of visiting Florida, Miami and Louisville "If I do visit those other schools it will be in December and January."

Herbert broke down each of the other schools still recruiting him:

Miami: "I like the atmosphere there. Coach Richt wants to try to keep everyone home in Florida and bring Miami back to where they were."

Florida: "Their coaches have been there for a really long time and have been recruiting me for a really long time. I have a great relationship with them."

Louisville: "They want me to get up tehre in December for a visit, but nothing is set in stone yet."

With better OL play we won't be back.

We need a winner as a head coach to be back.

Instead we hired a guy the a mid tier school would have hired after his failures of winning championships.

Maimi needs to get at least one JUCO lineman....I didn't see any Miami offers to top prospects....even Bama got one coming in....this team needs at least one ready to play OL....what's going on????

LOL...

Florida: "Their coaches have been there for a really long time and have been recruiting me for a really long time. I have a great relationship with them."

OL is one of those positions where you have to coach the kids up. It's not just saw talent. Our OL has under performed more than any year under Golden. Sorry that's the truth. I don't ever remember any of our QBs having open season on them like I seen this season. That's a function of coaching and play calling. Bigger problem than talent imo. Especially play calling

If you're down and confused
And you don't remember who you're talkin' to
Concentration slips away
'Cause your baby is so far away

Well there's a rose, in a fisted glove
And the eagle flies with the dove
And if you can't be with the one you love, honey
Love the one you're with
Love the one you're with
Love the one you're with
Love the one you're with
