So far

-take a 3-0 stranglehold of the ACC Coastal
-become just two games away from bowl eligible (haters had us winning 4 games all year)
-automatically makes Miami vs ND a nationally televised must watch game with a chance to showcase The U to recruits
-confidence confidence confidence....the team would be buzzing after this win
-possibly cracking the top 25
-first 3 game win steak in 4 sessions

This is a huge game

NC State is not even in the coastal. Sure it's a big game, but it pales in comparison to the VT game in a few weeks.

It would be nice to just see this team come out and play like they should each week. One of the most stressful things about this team the last few years is come off a big win then come out flat as **** the next week.

Seriously??? Every conf game counts towards overall conf record. We need this win to have the upper ha d on them

Watching Al's presser today, he did look upset. He knows he has to change the mindset to stop reading clippings and focus on this week.

Which Miami restaurant serves the best "win steak?" I really like the bone-in ribeye at Morton's, but I'd love to try a "win steak" to see how it compares.

Huh? You know we are not competing against NC State for a spot in the ACCCG. If we beat VT and VT subsequently loses to either FSU or Clemson, then it will take an all out collapse for Miami not to get into the ACCCG. Would mean we have to lose 3 conference games. Like I said, all conference games are important, but our season is riding on the VT game.

You both are right on two different tangents. It would help us more to beat Virginia Tech as it bumps us up one and them down one in our division. However, it's just as important to beat NC State as it adds another tick on our conference record, which in turn determines our ACCCG status.

he meant the biggest came of his career to date. obviously there are potentially bigger games down the road

All ACC games are big games for us, if we can have just 2 losses in ACC we should end up in Charlotte.

I wouldn't call this game the most important of Golden's career but I'd put it right up there with VT. We need to first win the games we should win. If we can't beat NC State then I'm not feeling too confident we can beat UNC or UVA or maybe even Duke no less VT.
