That last weekend every year, having to wait another couple days, is just . . . painful.

Nobody knows diddly, really no noise on how visits are going, not even any degree of certainty as to who showed up.

To make this even worse, the Golden years were a real crapshoot. We got some hardcore UM local talent, aka Duke etc., but every year Golden continued, we became more and more diluted in the recruiting game.

We gotta let the dogs off the chain this year. Got to.

Besides having Tracy Howard and Stacy Coley commit on NSD, Al got his **** pushed in every year. It's nice to have some optimism this year at least.

I figure tonight should be pretty eventful. At least with tyreic Martin if anyone

I'm a noob to crootin, but this feels more like the muscle soreness from a huge workout kinda pain as opposed to the 'my girlfriend is about to leave me' kinda pain from the last couple years.

Our guys have had to hit the ground running, but they have been working really hard. This will be a good class, but next year could be huge.

This^^^. The last few signing days have been painful. Now that we have a better coaching staff, I have confidence that even if we don't close particularly well this year, the kids we do get will be coached up better leading up to a better product on the field.

I'll be out of town, and out of touch next week. I'll not make any attempt to see how it pans out till next Friday. It's better for my blood pressure this way.

I feel pretty good. We are already in the green having removed the cancer from our program so whoever wants on board is good with me.

I'm nervous about Byrd. Someone tell me we will roll :stormwarningflag-sm

I personally like the excitement. I'm a little nervous like some but it makes for an entertaining NSD. Having all of our commits solid with no worries would be nice but either way it's good to be a Cane fan right now!

No excuse not to roll. We have a proven SEC coach who recruited top classes every year at a lesser school. Get it done.
