Am I wrong, or was this game not really that close? I know the score was close, but I just never felt the game was. I felt like we were never out of control even with the turnovers. What do y'all think? Am I just a crazy homer?

And also, I always love beating GT and their gimmick bull**** offense. Great win!

Yes I think you are crazy.

We dominated the 2nd half but dammit those TOs. To close for comfort for me.

The Lee fumbled completely turned the game. I thought we were done after the Morris INT and Tech was driving again. Kudos to the D for stepping up.

On a lighter note, we gotta stop giving up these garbage TDs late in games. Killing our defensive rankings LOL

This **** right here, unfortunately.

I had a decent chunk of change riding on it. Was sweating bullets till about 5 minutes left.

Were we watching the same game? We scored two garbage time touchdowns late...that was a sweater until halfway through the 4th. We almost fell behind 24-7 after Morris' pick.

I hear u, but it also had the feeling of one of those games that u drop through turnovers and bad penalties etc.

If we lost that I imagine that would be how UF fans felt after we beat them.
Cut the turnovers and we're sweet. Good to see the defence has the ability to make in game changes, something they didn't do well last year

...and hey a win is a win

Been said about today's game before but turnovers absolutely killed us today.

After 1st quarter our defense was dominant. 2 picks. Duke fumble and Dorset fumble that led to the second half td other than the late td allowed them to stay in the game

These turnovers are troubling. Need to fix it ASAP

First half was close. We really were making TERRIBLE mistakes. Two good drives killed by Morris ints. Or we would have been solidly in control. But we steam rolled these guys in the second half. GREAT game by the Defense. They really made the adjustments and were taking people's heads off in the second half. Defense kept us in this when the offense was sputtering in the first half.

Miami was lucky they caused that first fumble, it could have easily been 24-7 in the 2nd. I'll take the W.

It was all about the turnovers. Was the game close? Absolutely. Should it have been? Probably not.

But we pulled away in the 4th and skated the last few minutes.

5 - 0.

I never panic in this game when we scored in 36 seconds on the first drive I knew we could make up those turnovers I just kept looking like dang another mistake

I'm a Homer Like the rest of them but down 17-7 and gt rolling in our territory I was about to pull out the rum. Thank god for renfrow getting that forced fumble

Getting the turnover today was huge. Go down 24-7 and outcome of game more than likely is different. I am still concerned about when we play a team with a half way decent passing game. We havent played a team yet that can throw ball consistently. UNC game has me worried. Seems like trap game. Nationally televised game at home on a Thursday night, UNC will come to play.

Minus turnovers and untimely penalties it would not have been close.

Let that be a lesson to not be reckless with the ball.

Our passing efficiency was crazy and we averaged significantly more ypc on offense than their high powered running game. Should have been an easy blowout.
