I think Adrian Colbert will start opposite of Corn.
I think he may come in on 3rd down and long plays, but redwine will start.

UM fans love a FB and a walkon. You'd think this was Nebraska or Michigan circa 1979.
Williams should help at times. But I'd rather have an extra playmaker on the field more often. Every play that extra OL Williams is on the field is a play that Herndon or the great Sam Bruce or some other TD maker is on the sideline.
16 is way too high for a young running back especially one with his skill set. I hope he wasn't playing anywhere near that last year.So was it mostly just drills today? Which running back stood out the most? Has Yearby slimmed down anymore?
Yearly said he's down from 16 to 9 percent body fat

And we sure as **** aren't converting on 3rd and short just because the kid is big, unless the interior of our line improves drastically.UM fans love a FB and a walkon. You'd think this was Nebraska or Michigan circa 1979.

Exactly. How many times have we seen a jumbo package with guys getting pushed backward and the tailback having nowhere to run because everything is clogged up? If you need an inch you don't necessarily need another giant guy in front of the RB.And we sure as **** aren't converting on 3rd and short just because the kid is big, unless the interior of our line improves drastically.UM fans love a FB and a walkon. "well y'know we're really excited for Joe - he's up to 275 lbs now, and that new Hoveround we got him should really help his durability without sacrificing any speed..."

Hope we see Allison get to 220-225 within the next 2 years or soShirreffs up to 210? Dang, that's a jump for a skinny, tall kid.

I'd even wager that a guy like Herndon lining up at FB is just as likely to pick up short yardage than a lumbering 275 awkward battering ram is. I'm with chise and others. If it's a spot duty kind of role, fine, but if he's out there a large(r) amount of plays, it hurts out offense. That's one less offensive weapon you have on the team. With a halfback role back there, a la Davenport circa 2000, it creates that many more mismatches for the defenses.
