I was so pumped about the Slaton and Telfort news I didnt even give one thought into Henderson. Between this class and next class we will be just fine at CB. If Henderson doesnt want in...replace him potentially with Brini and call it a day. Give me the big uglies all day.

If you told me we would lose Henderson but Telfort would want in..I would take that all day. I like Hendersons potential but we need to hit on either Slaton or Telfort or both if possible.

This way of thinking has us in the situation we are in now. I been hearing next year for the past 6 seasons! You have elite talent you need to get it every year period.

Henderson isnt an elite talent. He has elite speed. Big difference. He aint plug and play buddy. He needs to be developed big time. Or all that speed will go to waste.

We have Bandy and Edwards who are both plug and play. We will have Ivey, Blades, maybe Campbell/Hall/Surtain Jr/Joseph and a hoist of other DBs..Henderson wont make or break the class at DB.

So what if he's not plug and play. A lot of players aren't. That's why you ****ing pay coaches six figures. To take that raw athlete and turn him into a first rounder.

The poster said he was an elite talent. My rebuttal is that elite talents dont get redshirted. They are ready to go Day 1. He is not so he isnt an elite talent. Hes got a skill set that we sorely need which is his speed but to say the sky is falling on our DB class if we lose this kid is ridiculous.

He is absolutely an elite talent. Your argument might sound better if you said he's not an elite CB yet.

We need DB's period! You cant just say "who cares next year is loaded" you need depth. Yes next year is loaded but nothing is guaranteed in recruiting nothing.

Henderson is an elite athlete. We need more of those guys, complete burners. We used to be stacked at the skill positions with them. Need that back. We just need to chalk it up as a lost, if they put the press and he flips, what can they do?

That dont mean anytbing to these kids to be honest what have we won before and we still got chad thomas coley and other ballers. If uf has a bad season they will still get ballers. Its about relationships i used to think it was about wins.....wibs help but alot of the time it isnt about that. I mean we got richards and bama is a better choice if we ttalkng about wins

Miller actually managed to play some HS football and only had that shoulder issue not 39 different nagging nicks and bruises that kept him out his whole career.

Burns isnt in the same stratosphere of Lamar Miller though. Lamar STILL put up crazy numbers, this kid only has an offer because of Jorge Baez and Hype.
