What do ya'll think about Damon Arnette? Good games against Tavares Martin and Dredrick Snelson this year. Big offers (OSU, FSU, etc.). 6'2" 185 lbs.
 
I'll just add this, I heard teams all around the country have taken notice of Snelson and we have a LOT of factors on our side but will be a fight to keep him just because of how elite he is.

No but he has a legit connection with TRob and lets be honest they offer immediate PT and their defense is way better than the disaster we've been fielding lately.

Just telling you based off everything I've heard lately.

I mean it really isnt a surprise. I expect a couple of other kids to get the same attention. What worries me is our ability to hold onto the elite kids. We must close the season strong, we cannot let happen what happened last year.....

No offense but I have heard that statement so many times only to be disappointed in the end. Whether that was because we didnt land the kid/kids or they just never were that good. VT and Ray Ray were gonna be the best safety duo in CFB back in 09.....
 
two things pete: any truth to the rumor some people here have been mentioning about the staff not recruiting devante davis? Also, regarding UF's push for Irvin, is T rob getting fired or was that BS.

Defense will have to prove themselves I admit and will get their chance starting next week. Also IF UF sucks this year like I think they will then most likely they'll get a new coach and no guarantee T-Rob stays. Plus UM will offer immediate pt also
 
Great news about Williams. Surprised to hear about the staff not being consistent with contacting Cronkrite, though.

I've been vocal in regards to expressing concern about CB recruiting this cycle. There are four safeties in that group of DBs we're recruiting the hardest, but a noticeable lack of corners. After only landing Mayes in the previous cycle and having an abundance of high quality CB talent in our own backyard, it's disappointing that we're in the spot we're in at corner right now.

Also concerned about the lack of quality DT and LB talent on the radar. Perry and McIntosh aside, we desperately need to improve at those positions before NSD.
