The Work 7-17

IM NOT SAYING WYCHE IS CODY. But if you remember or go back and look at Terrance Cody's story he came from Juco also and won a championship at both levels. Cody is 6-4 and it says at one point it tipped the scale at 400 lbs lol..

When he arrived at Alabama he was also 360 lbs and played at that weight at NG in the 3-4.. He got drafted in the 2nd round to the Ravens and is now 340..

In the 3-4 you need a NG that doesn't get pushed around and believe me Wchye is that dude that's going to make the difference even if it's only for half the game..

I don't know about you but I'm tired of seeing the D-line getting blown off the ball..

Wyche doesn't even look terribly out of shape but say by game time he's 345-350 and he's holding up 2 OL the change will be drastic..

For a nose tackle he looks like he is in great shape.

Only noticeable bad weight looks to be his cheeks.

Cody had the greatest ******* I have ever seen in college football.

He looks pretty good to be 360lbs.

Ain't no way he's 360! Porter looked bigger than Wyche.

Yeah Porter was 5'11 or 6" feet this dude 6'4 legit

Did not know Porter was that short. No wonder....

WYCHE = WILFORK !!!!!!!!!

Easy there fella.

Yeah, Killa, but if he is right we be in NC race.

You know how many Vince Wilfork's there have been the past 20 years?

1, and his name was Vince Wilfork.

Same as there has only been 1 Sean Taylor and 1 Ed Reed.

We are talking about one of the greatest Nose Tackles of all time.
Just because someone is big doesn't make him the next Vince.

Forget about his Patriot's career, go watch his Miami highlights, and then you will understand why comparing anybody to Vince Wilfork is insulting to Vince.

But have to bear in mind that Wilfork played in a 4-3 here which really let him shine. As far as "the next" whatever, I couldn't be more sick of hearing "the next Sean Taylor." Guy was the best college safety I've ever seen, an absolute dominant force in every aspect of the game, showed up big in big games, and was taken far too soon. There's extra sting for me having gone to school with him. I really think no one should be able to wear #26 at Miami again, or at the very least it should be reserved for a senior who is an absolute beast. I'm sick of kids showing up and just getting the number because it was ST's and then making it look bad (I'm looking directly at you, Ray Ray Armstrong).

Ray might (might) have been the victim of poor coaching (and bad decisions) He's become a playmaker for the Rams.

That's 1 play from the preseason. He had 13 tackles last year. He was a victim of his own poor decisions more than anything else.

Why Dorsett and Lewis in the return game? Is it because they can field a ball? I would like to see

1. Coley
2. Burns or Carter
3. Corn

You haven't been paying attention he's in line for serious PT this year.. You might be eating a big helping of shut the **** up in about 5 months.

Don't think so.

You can always pull up one highlight, but how about the following 6 low lights.

Ray Ray, Vaughn Telemaque and Ramon Buchanon were always good for one great play a game. Then the rest of the game they ran real fast the wrong way, freelanced themselves right out of plays, or got a pass interference call 5 yards before the 1st down marker, when a tackle would have forced a punt.

That play is quintessential Ray Ray. An untouched run at a qb named #17. Not like #17 gets a lot of playing time behind Peyton, so of course he barely knows what he's doing.
Plus, its in a meaningless pre season game.

You say he's going to get a lot of playing time this year, based on what?

Unpadded, no contact OTA's?
Nobody doubts Ray Ray's athleticism. I'm sure the Rams' coaching are jizzing every time they see him run.
What's in serious doubt is his football I.Q., of which he displayed zero at Miami.
