Alright, "f" it I'll ask. Pete what's your take on what Burr had to say on the WEZ about Irvin and Quan? Some strong stuff he was saying about the two of them. Nothing positive.
Dhucks.. I don't go to the WEZ.. what did Burr say.. paraphrase for us.. I've heard that they aren't feeling the U at all. If so does that me we go hard after Carlton Davis, D. Davis, and Cole

Just spoke to my best friend, he is very involved in recruiting down here, is a high school coach, and is Ariz SOURCE for all info on Irvin and Cronkrite.
I foreshadowed this last week when I posted about not expecting Tim in this class in the recruiting thread. Looks like its really serious now.
Tim just got back from a Rivals 5 star challenge in Baltimore this past weekend and a lot has changed in his mind. Trob from Florida was on him texting and Twitter messaging him all weekend. I have said before Tim does not like AG, he doesn't think hes a winner. While I obviously think Muschamp is a *** loser ****, Tim likes his attitude and his DEFENSE (you know the thing we don't have). TROB is now in complete control of Tim and Quans recruitment and it's looking like UF is theirs to lose. Quan has not been interested in Miami for a month or 2 now while Tim was the last one holding out to see.
Its veryyyyyy well known that Coach Irvin wants Tim and Jordan Cronkrite to make their decision during the summer before the season starts so there are no distractions. If Tim commits to Florida I have a VERY hard time believing Jordan will stay committed to us. He has been very upset about the way we have handled the recruitment of the RB position (we were playing games with Jordan while waiting to see about Walton reclassification).
Moral of the story, Quan and Tim are gone unless you can find someone to out recruit TROB and replace our d coordinator.
Yes, defensive tackle, one of the major trouble spots of a troubled defense, has been a positive this summer, several folks inside the Schwartz Center said.
UM believes it has a major upgrade in transfer Michael Wyche, who has impressed in the weight room. One source called him “what we’ve been missing in terms of length and width at nose.”
Wyche certainly had the width when he arrived. He reported for summer classes June 30 at 6-foot-4 and 360 pounds, but is now less than 350 and is expected to be lower when camp begins Aug. 5. UM wants him around 330-335.
But several teammates have raved about Wyche’s considerable strength. He told the Post last December he could bench 435 pounds and squat close to 600, which made him among the strongest Canes before he stepped on campus.
“He’s a powerful kid, powerful as can be,” the UM source said. The big question will be how much Wyche can play this fall, being as big as he is, but that source wasn’t worried: “He’s got some twitch to him. He’s not a sideline-to-sideline guy, but neither is Vince Wilfork. I don’t want to crown the guy, but he’s what we thought we were getting” from a size, strength, character and workout standpoint.
“Now we just need to see it with pads on,” the source said.
Another JUCO transfer, Calvin Heurtelou, has been through a round of spring ball and drew March raves from Al Golden for his strength. UM is also impressed with Anthony Moten, a 6-foot-4 freshman who arrived at 292 and is now more than 300 pounds. Courtel Jenkins is in
“People seem to think we’re not where we need to be at defensive tackle,” the source said. “We’re young, but we’re deeper than people think.”
One to watch: UM feels good about its chances of landing Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes athlete Jaason Lewis (yes, there is an extra ‘a’). Lewis, listed at 6-2 and between 230 and 240 pounds, named the Hurricanes in top five along with Oregon, Arizona State, Ole Miss and LSU.
Lewis, who decommitted from UCLA in May, has a brother (Jeffrey) who briefly ran track at UM. The Canes are recruiting him as an all-purpose offensive player and see him as a jumbo wide receiver/H-back/Kellen Winslow-type they could line up all over the field.

Assuming this is true and I have no reason to doubt you (of course, I have no reason to believe you either), it is a long ways to signing day.
Once UF starts burning down their frat houses after another 7 to 8 loss season, we will see just how far those Bull Gator dollars take them.

This isn't my knowledge, it's from Burr on the WEZ.
