In other places, you can point them out as exceptions. Down here, we find it exemplary when a player commits and actually ends up at the school he commits to. That is the difference. Carry on.

I'm almost always against crowning a recruit as THE Franchise changer.

that said, I feel like people are unfairly criticizing Gibson only because they feel like he won't come here.

Based solely on the videos online (since I haven't had the fortune of watching a full game from Wimbush), it seems he is better positioned for long balls and 15 yards+ beam throws then a touch pass. Same as Morris. Nothing wrong with having arm strength, but I prefer a Qb with touch and catchable balls with a little less arm strength, personal preference.

I agree though on the unfortunate route of "south florida diva-ness" or immaturity in this process, which is not the trend for qb's. With that in mind, it's possibly the staff may take a commitment early and call it a day.

Regarding the RB spot, I have become enamored with Dexter Williams from Orlando. To me, a more rounded version of dalvin cook. Not really impressed at the RB spot with Jordan Cronkite at all.

Wimbush is the better and more accurate passer...and IMO, it's not even close. Both are athletically gifted kids. I would take Wimbush all day, every day, and twice on Sundays.

Pete I would like to know what's up with Trenton Thompson and Damien Harris?

Harris did an interview where he stated he is going to visit. Thompson is from Albany where Young is from, hope if we offer them both maybe we can be contenders.

Im just surprised some of these top prospects in the nation don't have offers.

That is not the point.

The divas that so many ***** about tend to be high profile recruits (I guess your claim would make sense given south Florida is the most concentrated, rich, and fertile recruiting territory in the nation for said players).

You play the game with those kids because they're the best.

Been saying this for months.. He's old and he's not qualifying for Miami. Kid should skip his high school sr season and head to prep school now.. Same with Ridley..

Does Florida have a HS age limit for sports? I know a lot of states do.

So many guys look at the "flash" of Gibson but when you tell him to drop back and pass it 25 times he throws 3 picks I'm not on the hype whoever we sign this year won't play for 3 years at least & my bet is that Gibson doesn't wait till NSD and commits to OSU or UGA early. McFadden doesn't want to play here that train left a long time ago. Don't get on this American heritage train I promise you will get nowhere. Talk to me about Causey or nothing

Here is an interesting article on Farrier and his interest in UM, glad to see Hurlie Brown working on him as well as RB Jaques Patrick. Orlando could again hold a few gems for UM this recruiting class such as Olympia HS's RB/ATH Dexter Williams

Lake Nona WR Deondre Farrier picks up offer from Hurricanes

The more coaches see Deondre Farrier's highlight reel, the more his offer list keeps piling up.

Miami is the latest to jump on the bandwagon, and as the offers have piled up Farrier started to second-guess his early commitment to USF. He committed to USF in December, but recently decommitted from the Bulls following an offer from Florida on Jan. 2. He also has offers from*Cincinnati, East Carolina, Kentucky, UMass, Memphis, Minnesota and Tulane.

The Hurricanes offered the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Orlando Lake Nona wide receiver on Wednesday. While seniors were signing, Miami coaches were reaching out to juniors.
Farrier talked to running backs coach Hurlie Brown and wide receivers coach Brennan Carroll about his future.

"It was great. ... They told me they saw my highlight film and were very impressed," Farrier said. "They also told me they wanted me to be a part of their offense."

With the departure of Lake Nona's career receiving leader Ryan Sousa to the University of Florida, Farrier will take over the go-to role in the Lake Nona passing game next season. He will share those duties with fellow 2015 receiver Mehdi El Attrach (6-1, 190), another player who had a breakout year in 2013.*

Both players will have the luxury of having 2015 quarterback Tucker Israel back for his senior season as well. Israel, who committed to Clemson on Monday, has to be happy with his remaining ****nal, to which head coach Anthony Paradiso will surely add others, like junior Chad Maycumber (5-1, 170).

Last year,*Farrier had 55 catches for 909 yards and seven touchdowns, after a sophomore season in which he caught 36 balls for 485 yards and three TDs.

El Attrach had 40 catches for 827 yards and seven TDs in his first big season for the Lions.*El Attrach has FBS offers from UMass, Memphis, South Alabama and Western Kentucky.

Gibson's not a QB. Short and Intermediate accuracy is scattershot. Throws a nice deep ball, tho. Very athletic. Just not a 5-star QB.

Now, at WR? Hoooooo buddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Heard back from my friend about Baylor's QB Tiano. He said, "He's a stud, we played against him in a scrimmage, and were impressed, strong arm, but I didn't think he was Miami good." So take that FWIW.
