Pete, any chance we go after/offer Deandre Johnson as the last DT in this class?

So you mentioned on the podcast how we are likely signing between 9-11 more guys. I'm not great at math, but that means we have to have some guys we don't know about right?

Herbert, Slaton, and Donaldson are massive blue chip prospects that will make our Oline haul an A+ counting Dykstra, Hillary, Mohney, and possibly Bateman.
If all goes to plan, tremendous job by the coaching staff recruiting this O-line class.
 
McKitty might be the only recruit in the nation that actually has his family pushing him to Miami lol...
 
Didn't LSU sign 4 top 20 DTs last year,you would think that would scare some this year.Might not be a bad idea to redshirt Moten next year if he's willing to do so.

LSU signed Mathis's former teammate Rashard Lawrence last year he was the # 5 DT in the nation for 2016. So that has also been a big pull for Mathis.

Someone just mentioned that Orgeron didn't retain Mathis' primary recruiter.

I would rank the potential 2017 uncommit DT's Miami is after as

1 ) Phidarian Mathis

2 ) Alec Jackson ( he is a strong Auburn lean)

3 ) Elijah Conliffe

An yes I know Jackson is only a 3* but he is very athletic for his size and he is smart , not to mention country strong.

Pete you giving us "huge" expectations in predicting Hebert and Slaton to The U. This is exciting news and your word carries a lot of weight around here. Keep us updated the second you might sense otherwise. Hoping Kool gets at least one of the DT's he's pursuing, 2 DT's and both local OLinemen would shut this site down.
 
Love hearing about DTs we are after but no WR news is troubling to me IK Jeudy is gone and maybe a slim chance at him bc what has happened to his family but I figured maybe Smith would have some kind of update

Not every update is going to have updates on every position, especially when he's going multiple a week. Still 2 months til NSD. Calm down.
