I've mentioned him in multiple updates recently, just not much movement there. It's big that Miami gets him to visit on the final weekend before NSD.

Any concerns with him not visiting?

He has an official visit scheduled to Miami for the final weekend before NSD

TOS just posted an interview with Edwards and he's saying he won't OV to Miami. Going to visit UF that last weekend instead. If true, got to think our chances are slim to none.

Not sure how much I trust these other sites but with that being said, I have a strange feeling Edwards won't be a cane.

There are some Gators boosters that I know that have heard they have missed out on a Miami kid to Alabama. But they are getting another cornerback from South Florida. These booster do not follow recruiting and just here tidbits from time to time.

This is why I asked Pete if there was any concerns with Edwards visiting. I trust Pete information and will hold out until signing day. But my first inclination was Henderson to Bama and Edwards to UF.

dam solid & while WR may not be elite, I still think after NSD there will be some movement there. MR & Staff are professionals-not like those dip****s who were here. Holmes will account for Malcolm's catches & there will be someone else in the mix come spring or summer.

The 2 OL's & DT Conliffe would be fkin HUGE!

Nope because it works! Don't hate Jersey simply because NJ looks like a winter wasteland from Oct until April.

This is what Miami's Campus looks all year round! After watching tell me you wouldn't use weather also. The state of Florida's business model is based on population growth by having people relocate to Florida simply for the weather, so then why wouldn't UM use that strategy also?

Derrick Smith is 6'3 & I would not be surprised if he does not play WR for us especially if we do hit on Edwards again. The 2 Heritage OL's & DT Conliffe would be dam huge to close out. And as far as WR-I'm sure this staff will find another come spring or summer. There will be other transfers that their names com out & we'll be fine. Also why I think Smith is a WR because of Dean too. Smith is aggressive on both sides of the ball & would make a dam good WR here.

Is it just me..or does he seem like he is jogging everytime he catches the ball instead of sprinting? A guy with 4.4 speed should be utilizing it more often.

I do believe the lack of a top notch WR committing is because they don't think highly of Kaaya. I was told that by "one" top receiver committed to a top state team a few months back after meeting him at a fish fry. I also don't believe there is a team in the NFL that would draft Kaaya before the bottom 2nd round if that. Kaaya just doesn't have the personality or skill set that Brothers gravitate to.

As someone has already mentioned that is a BS excuse. Kaaya at best is here 1 more year. These guys should be thinking who the qb is 2-3 years down the road not next year. Some could even red shirt so there is no guarantee they will see playing time their 1st year.
