going to put my sunny day scenario into play here (100% pure speculation and BS).

Cook tells Lane U, Lane lets Dixon know he is coming. Dixon get power offer from OSU.

Again, just speculation and complete crap, but keeps me happy with the news.

Recruiting is not for the faint of heart. These 17 year old kids can do a 180 in five minutes. You get too caught up in them they will drive you crazy.
 
Quick review:

Dixon was an OSU lean until Golden and Coley did an in-home. At that point he was a UM lean and was likely to commit. Urban asked for an in-home and was able to swing Dixon back to being an asterisk lean. It appears that's how this saga is going to end.
 
If what is written is true... I'm pretty disappointed with Dixon's turn of events

Remember when we were getting everyone last year, and then only got Coley.

Maybe it will be opposite this year.

Yes because it is impossible for a kid to be leaning towards one school one week and then be leaning toward another school the next. A 17 yr would never do that.

Why the **** can't you people understand that recruiting is fluid and that **** ******* changes?

Y'all are really ******* annoying sometimes. You know what happened this week? Urban Meyer had an in-home visit with Dixon. So maybe Dixon was leaning towards Miami last week and now he isn't after the in-home. So is not all that farfetched to say that maybe these people aren't full of **** and they are just reacting to continuously changing circumstances. Kids change their minds. Get the **** over it.

Just interested to see how his weekend has gone. If he's had any effect on Hester, or any insight as to what other recruits are saying. Dude seems like he's all in. Just hadn't heard the name much in association with this weekend is all.
 
It's free info. At the end of the day, I don't think you can complain too much.

I just choose to take everything with a grain of salt now. It's much easier to follow recruiting that way.

If Young doesn't get in I'm gonna have a fcking nervous breakdown. I may not go outside for a week. He is one of the commits I'm looking most forward to. Will not be happy if he doesn't qualify.

I honestly would pay for the info on this site it is much better then any of the others...scout is officially dead, I am not sure somedays if gary is a cane fan or a cane hater and it seems like he guesses more then has insite...can't say much for 24/7 but I like THE WORK...its always good...

Why? Meltdowns happen when a lot of people are confident someone will come, and then he doesn't, leading to much disappointment. Pete seems to be indicating that FSU may well lead at this point. A number of other people seem to think that also. Cook's remarks have been deliberately uninformative. I hope we get him, but I am not counting on it.

Exactly. Not to say that people wont meltdown anyway, but its their own **** fault for getting carried away with their hopes on this kid. He has never implied that we led, and up until 2 weeks ago, he scarcely even seemed like he was even seriously considering us. Id say we are facing an uphill battle there. Expect the worst, hope for the best. I expect him to sign with FSU. So if and when it happens, Im not going to be shocked or crushed. And if by some miracle he does pick us, then I will be euphoric.
