People can talk about Golden, you can talk about his kids, his tie, him being fat, him being stubborn, him being loyal to an idiot DC, him being a used car salesman, him being a phony, him being a good talker with nothing to back it up..(did I get them all?)

But when it comes to recruiting NOBODY out shines him. NOBODY. Tom Lemming told us back when we first got him that he didnt know if he was a good coach or not but he **** sure knew that Al was one of the top 5 recruiters in the nation. I think he is living up to that high praise right about now.

If he can close by getting Cook, JC, Dixon or Lane, and two JUCO DTs. I will leave him alone until Fall ball. He would have earned it.

1) im more impressed by the guys we already have committed 2)JC,Dixon, and at least one JUCO Dt is almost a given at this point 3) my opinion about him wont change because of keef cook 4) im not a golden basher but whatever we are doint on D needs to change and fast
 
The only good news at this point would be D'Nofrio has been fired, his **** packed and run out of Florida! Firing him and bringing in a hard nosed pro level DC would be good for 3 wins alone. Plus our defenders need to be tougher. They gotta go back to physical practices because they are too soft.

Dnofrio isnt getting fired. Let it go. It will make things easier. The only hope we have is that we bring in a bunch of crazy talent and it doesnt F'n matter what the defense is because we will just out-talent everyone.

The ONLY way he gets fired is if we lost the last 3 games and it was clearly the defenses fault. (he couldnt survive a 6 games losing streak).

And JC and Dixon are not a given to me. Been following recruiting too long to fall for that one.
 
Kaaya took an unofficial visit to SC last week and will be visiting UCLA this week. I still think he ends up here just some recruiting news.

Good stuff!! Lets hope Valentine & Jackson stay. Any news on Claude Pelon, Damian Prince, Kentavious Street?
 
No raves for this report because it is typically great stuff--exactly what I have come to expect from Pete.

He set the bar so high with all his great reports that I would be totally shocked if his report wasn't something other than stellar, which it is.

As usual.
 
Pete I for one am not worried about LSU stealing valentine from us, what I am worried about is the amount of credits valentine will have...what's the deal with that ****
