As a Hurricane i say yes too and the lb at central...as a parent don't overload...sorta like how Cronk was feeling... from my research when Shaq gets there it will be 14 lbs on campus thats a lot already....bringing in more is overkill...

We only have one this year and I think Gordinier grows into a DE he's already 6.4 240 now way this staff doesn't blow him up like they did Chick.
 
so basically there's no chance that Golden and his boys will be coaching here.

how will that affect this class?

will Coley and Baez be kept by the next guy?

Just checked last years roster. We have 7 on scholly this fall, not including the 2015 class.

some of yall taking this late offer stuff too far like you actually know what the kids are thinking. Brandon Powell was offered late and committed right away to florida. he was like 50% enrolled to us. Kids have dream schools and if its the school they want to come too they will come.

Way to turn the story around to fit your point. Our admin office, PLAYED Powell for days on days. Kept pushing is start date back. Buddy was packed and ready to go. Someone dropped the ball here and when UF came calling, he jumped at the chance because we were BSing around. Someone on here said that they did Yearby the same way and if we didn't get our **** together fast he would have gone to USF. (I bet hes glad he didn't do that ****. Telly done gone to greener pastures)

I mentioned this in another thread. Times have changed. These SoFla kids KNOW they are wanted be every team in the country because of the high premium on SoFla kids. You think that's just some message board secret? Look at Telly Lockette getting that job at Oregon State. Coaches will do anything to just get one or two SoFla kids a year. **** I was watching the AZ vs BSU game and saw some kid from Miami named Tellis Jones flying around and lightin' mofos up. I had never even heard of dude before!

The days of "Teraz McCrary" are over. Might have one once every few yeard but kids are not going to wait until the morning of signing day and hope that UM calls them to give them a last second offer. Jawand Blue did it and now we think thats the norm. Its not. Smh.

Smith more of a tweener, pass rusher/DE - rsSO


Then the 2016 group

Your son Shaq, Zach and Mike


So realistically 7 as I consider Smith a DE, we would have on the current roster when your son enrolls next January at Miami. Not sure yet if Gordinier outgrows LB as well.

Unless you are considering DJack, Patchan, AQM, Harris but they are more of a DE than a linebacker. Just situationally used as pass rusher standing up in 3-4.








We need the depth sorely at LB and to have some of those guys play special teams as well where we need help.

Must take into account that transfers and injuries happen all the time so the depth and players can change. As well as players who might not pan out.


If they pass on Talan. We'll have to get over that hump as fans and deal with it.


Donovan Thompson from Central in 2016, the only issue is that he is a bit undersized. About 5'10" maybe pushing 5'11" but he is a very instinctive, smart player at linebacker. Who Miami has thrived on in the past with guys like that. Would I be happy with the current TRIO of 2016? **** yeah I would be stoked, but we do need more.
