Today's episode of Outside the Lines on ESPN is supposedly entirely about the Hurricanes athletic department. Probably talk about the NCAA mess more, but also have to believe it has a lot to do with the recent success of the basketball team. Hopefully is some more good press for the university. Here's the tweet they put out this morning:

Outside The Lines ‏@OTLonESPN
What’s your overall perception of the Miami Hurricanes athletic program? #TheU 3P ET ESPN

based on that question i think it will be a positive story, that tweet seems to be looking to evoke the people who dislike UM. jmo.

ESPN seems to finally be on our jocks for once.

It's nice to have them on our side, for once.

Hopefully, this OTL piece puts us in a good spotlight.

We need all the good publicity we can get.

I never want them on our side; all it takes is one slip up and they will be against us again

well looks like it's going to be entirely about scandals surrounding the program. imagine that

ESPN OTL: a lot of talk with nothing said.

Basketball program is good; coach is well regarded
Football program is on the way back, all thought Golden to be a stud and complimented recruiting and coaching hires
Baseball and ped issue remains to be seen if anything
NCAA has damaged its credibility and self imposed bans should help; yadayadayadyada

Quite a few references to the U = Swag. Nothing wrong with that.

That Heather Dandruff chick is annoying. How did she get a job for writing at such a prestigious............oh it's ESPN. Never mind.

Pretty much. They were praising Larranaga and the hooper ball team, but were still like, "But Shapiro though".

I wanted to smack her with my c*** in the face with some of her comments. Her logic is idiotic saying our recruiting has not been harmed by investigation since 1/2 our class had ESPN 150 recruits. That is a testament to the staff working hard. We HAVE ABSOLUTELY been harmed by the investigation because we would have pulled even more studs without that hanging over the program.

They said that A Rod was an alum! Idiots don't even know that, not only is he not an alum, HE NEVER EVEN ATTENDED THE U!

I thought he took a class or 2 one summer? Early on in his pro career I thought he did.
