1. Miami is a much improved team, but still laks numbers. Example FSU has 3 experienced RBs we "had" one.

2. We lack playmakers, look at the 4-5 star playmakers for FSU they have five star Wilder, Winston, and O'leary not o mention their 4 star studs. We "had" duke.

3. Morris has regressed under Coley, I am not sure if it is the injury or the coaching but he is hot garbage.

4. Our offensive play calling is non-creative and predictable. No screens, role outs, etc.

5. Defense we need to get some players up front to get some pressure with our front four.

6. We need a big back to help Duke next year.

This team is much improved under Golden but we don't have the numbers, we need a couple of more classes. I can't grade coach D until we get the players up front to get pressure but it is much better than last year.

2, 3 and 4 are all questionable.

Coley and Dorsett aren't playmakers?

Morris is hurt.

There were a few screens called and it's hard to do a roll out when your QB is playing on one leg.

We need a guy like Freeman, can't believe we let him get away???

jk/he need's to STFU will all this Miami didn't recruit me BS, and F-him for flashing the U at our bench, butthurt ******.

agree totally with #3

#4 I would add that coley tries to get too cute and maybe there was a reason he was not allowed to call plays when he was at fsu

Re: #5...I have avoided contributing to the fire DC posts but I think we have seen enough...he just does not have that killer mentality that a DC needs to have....D no no has to go go

+1000 on #6

Freeman and Duke were high school friends. I heard he was upset after Dukes injury.

Maybe the NCAA sanctions had something 2 do with this.Im happy with the growth of the team.We just need a quarterback.See what having a qb has done 4 fsu

Coley is young and Dorsett didn't play but look at the number of playmakers for FSU and look at what we had. You can't compare the two.

I would add we also need our d coordinator to develop a killer mentality and our OC to stop being soo **** cute with the play calling.

You're not making a lot of sense. Coley's not a playmaker because he's young? I'm pretty sure he's our most explosive player.

But I agree with your 6th point, we desperately need a big back.

The OP is a ***** for this thread straight up... Without morris and the way our defense played letting them keep converting 3rd and long should of been 77-0 like savannah st... Defense front four had winston more than 3 times... ON 3RD DOWN... (Muhammed smh).... Definitely not Morris fault

Morris was fools gold. He got hot last year for the final 4
Games of the year. Before that he was streaky at best. We expected that he would mature and get better.

He didn't start the year strong which is fine because he is a slow starter. But then he got hurt. If you watch his mechanics (which was his weakness before injury) they have gone to ****. He's not scanning the field AT ALL, his work is pathetic. At times last night it looked like he didn't even care about his footwork and release.

I understand ppl want to be critical of Coley. That is knee jerk. Open your eyes. We get the ball back after half time down 7. We run play action on first down. Switching up the play calling now that we established 1st down runs. It Worked, I think Duke has a 8 yard run. Then a 2 yard run. Now it's second a 8. We run a quick slant to Herb. herb is Wide Open. Morris throws the ball way off course. Herb gets one hand on it. And prevents and interception.

They score. We are now down 14. We need a big drive.
Coley calls a play action on 1st down again. Catches the noles in a soft front. WR coley has his man beat. Morris doesn't see it until he is beyond his arm strength....throws it anyways interception.

In the fourth quarter, posters complain "we don't use the middle of the field wah wah" Clive runs a post route in the middle of the field. He is clearly COVERED Morris throw is it anyways...now there is confusing on whether or not Clive ran the wrong route. But IMO that is the problem with Morris he never adapts and doesn't have a feel for the game. He just hasn't gotten better. He took a sack on 2 and 8 in the 1st quarter when he had all day to throw and could have thrown it away. Then we come back it's 3 and 13. These are things a SR QB shouldn't be doing.

^^^not sure how anyone can debate any of that.

Morris also, on more than one occasion, put the ball on the wrong shoulder hindering the receiver.

What's most frightening, moving forward, is that we are left to assume that Williams is worse. If Morris continues to play like this and Williams is not even an option - it's going to be a lot longer than I care to admit before we're 'back'.

Even if we had Teddy Bridgewater we would have fallen short, we lack the numbers. We have 3 receivers and on is a freshman that has been up and down and yes I say Coley has not shown he is a solid playmaker. He looks like he has potential but he hasn't done it yet. Right now we are short 10 scholarship players and then through in the injuries.

It was the 305 at the end of the broadcast he flashes the 305 at the camera and said something along the lines of all about miami or I'm from miami...anyway point is he's a ****

this years DLine and Oline recruiting classes the year theyre sophomores and dukes class are seniors will be the pinnacle of talent under Golden, need running backs

Randy Shannon beat us last night.
SM (as i have been previously pointing out for moths) is absolute garbage.
Tyrone Cornelius, Asante Cleveland, Kelvin Cain, A.J. Highsmith, Kacy Rodgers are all laughable. The fact that they get PT at Miami is beyond me. They have to be the worst collection of D1 talent (if you can even give that to them) we've ever had here. Someone said it last night in the gameday thread, Highsmith and Cornelius may be the worst players at their respective positions to ever come through here. Id have to agree.

Lol at the people putting blame on the true frosh WR Stacy Coley. First of all imo, that wasnt a drop on the sideline. Coley absolutely torched the secondary on multiple occasions last night, only to have Morris miss him every single time. Underthrew a TD, completely missed an entire area and just had to deliver the slightest instance of a catchable ball, couldnt do it etc. How about also pointing out the incredibly ****** leadership of SM.. There was none from him, never has been. In fact, you can go all the way back to the first week of the season and use the example of him throwing the biggest ***** fit in the history of UM Qbs after Coley dropped that one ball over the middle. Every facet of this dudes game is pathetic except his arm strength. Big ******* deal.

Im gonna be that guy, and demand an apology from everyone here that reamed me about Morris before the season started. Its the absolute least yall could do. Eat your crow
