Man, if you’re arguing that Clemson D is worse than SMU’s, then I don’t know what more I can tell you. My whole point was, SMU is easier for us to beat because their defense is not very good and we can score on their defense pretty easily. Clemson’s defense, that’s a different story.

Hate to tell you, but that might be a push with SMU’s offense and our defense

So SMU will score in 3 min 15 sec instead of 3 min 45 seconds like other teams. Our D makes all offenses look good. Not much of a functional difference between the #10 offense and the #80 offense against us. Duke literally has one of the worst offenses in cfb and they scored at will in the first half. What matters is how good the D is. Can they slow UM down in the first half? If so we will be playing from behind and it will be another nailbiter. If the O is hitting on all cylinders we keep a 2 TD lead for most of the game and it’s mostly under control (though D will inevitably make it closer than it should be at the end of the 4th quarter).
