before the last year or two, I would have no doubt that Sony would be a Cane but I am a bit gun shy from the recent disasters
 
I would absolutely LOVE to have Michael but we have Yearby already and we also have Duke Johnson for at least another two years and for one more year when and if Sony comes so I am not to worried about it either way. But I would love to get him helps with more local kids.

We need a second stud RB in this class. Plain and simple. We missed badly last year.

I don't agree with that. We have one stud RB in Yearby and think we got some solid RB's last year. I am not saying I don't want Sony because I do but I won't worry for a second if we didn't get him. I would worry if we didn't get any of the top 3 guys down here but since we have Yearby I won't be stressing.

Truth, especially a horse like Sony.

I've always thought the earlier a commitment the better for us. The longer it plays out the more our chances fade. Hopefully it goes our way.

I'd agree with that. But, if UM doesn't get Michel, I feel a lot more confident about whomever they get at RB to go along with Yearby when I think about the OL class they have (at least on paper) coming in.

Nope, we need more horses at RB. RBs get banged up all the time and right now the fall off after Duke is immense. I pray Gus ends up working out more than just a FB, because Elder is not gonna be a true RB for us. Im excited about the kid think he has skills but he is to small. We need two studs this year at least, it looks like we will take 3.

If you want ACC Championship games to be a reflex of your program, you need Sonys. You want to dream of National Championships at night? You need Sonys. You want to build a full-time powerhouse, you need Sonys.

Searby would breakest thou Gurshall over thy holy knee.
 
It would be one thing if Sony was just another stud Florida running back. But this kid came out of the womb with his moms placenta tucked tightly against his rib cage. When he broke the plain he spiked that **** and threw up the U afterwards.

Must not lose.

Great point, it bothers me when people are like eh we don't NEED him, while of course our program will not end without guys like sony and lane and Clark etc, we do need to land these local studs if we want to be in that national championship discussion, or we can continue to say "we don't need these kids" and win maybe seven or eight games a year for the next century

I wonder if those guys know anything or they just see a top 5 SEC school vs Miami give UGA the benefit of the doubt.
 
wow everybody saying UGA. Has anybody seen that picture of Sony girlfriend in all UGA gear on instagram ?

those "national" guys have sources within the program of numerous universities, I'm sure.

Miami recruiting guys have sources from the family, high school, etc which are closer to the said recruit.
