Mentioned in the post but Coach D did really completely change everything for the GT game. 4-3 for the entire game with Denzel and Cornelius as the primary OLBs. First half I saw a ton of guys (basically everyone but Denzel, Chick, Green) going off their assignment and chasing the ball. Rodgers and Highsmith REALLY struggled coming down and containing the pitch guys (Jenkins was hit or miss). 2nd half they did a lot better and switched assignments which seemed to mess with Lee some. One play Armbrister (who didn't play nearly enough) was responsible for the dive (Chick took the QB) but Lee pulled it too quickly and Armbrister basically forced the QB to keep and then pitch all by himself. Fentress got a lot of PT at LB too and did fairly well, especially against the diamond stuff.
REALLY happy with how we performed against that where they were running primarily inverted veer stuff, which is what VT (and KState) had killed us on in the past. VT is probably the most significant game for us the rest of the season (in terms of getting to the ACCCG), and their entire run game is Logan, mostly on those type of plays.
I'll try to post some more in depth stuff after rewatching but that call on Jenkins' INT was fantastic, CB was off so the QB thought he had the comeback for the first down, Jenkins was playing it and had an easy INT.
