The Other side of recruiting

Sounds like the kid sort of screwed himself. You hear it all the time, when recruiting is hot, you better take a great offer before a class fills up.

And what happens when you jump on that hot offer from a school that several months later finds another player they like better and
ask you to look elsewhere?

Wait, is it offensive or a micro aggression? Or out right speciesism? At least “chicken” is safe word from gender aspect since it does not imply rooster or hen — I think.

I don’t know what you just said but all I know is I’m craving Popeyes right now.

Just because a kid is a Top 250 kid or whatever, doesn't mean they should be going to the usual suspect of the Power 5. Maybe this will be good for him. Most of the time, when they do go to these G5 type programs due to grades, they don't work out or make it to campus in the first place...but maybe this kid is different. If he gets to campus, he'll be the BMOC.

Said Nebraska ran out of room. I watched his highlights at the bottom of the rivals page and you would've thought he would've had more offers. Let's see how it ends up. I'm not sending my kid out to Fresno that's all I'm gonna say about that.

Then you got it exactly. Plus, your solution is perfect. Love that chicken from Popeyes. Only one that comes close to my Pop’s, R.I.P., chicken. Still remember his old black cast iron pan and the crisco can he would store all the bacon grease in to fry the chicken. Well, I know where to get lunch today.

This is what happens when you have a culture in HS Football where kids compete for the raw number of offers. Perhaps, he didn't seek out offers like crazy or maybe his grades were perpetually terrible so teams never showed any interest. Either way...I'm interested to see if this kid shows up on campus by August. These are always interesting recruiting stories.
