The less people post about James Cook the better. Anyone who believes we have a shot is delusional.

Brewster tells recruits to string along schools for fun. (Shavar Manuel was slightly a FSU commit for 50% time of his UF public commit, same with Older Cook)

Just getting your hopes up falsely. He is all Nole.

Surtain JR the best CB to come out of Florida in years need to get Rumph to lock him up.

Surtain Jr. ain't even the best CB on his team, Campbell is, and if we're even in range of closing the gap between us and Clemson, he's ours to lose. The only reason we aren't his leader is the shi.tshow that was the golden era. I guarantee you if we show up in the ACCCG, he won't be so wide open then.

Yea Campbell is elite but it's shocking that no one has us really leading. We gotta show up on the field. Clemson, Lsu seem to be growing bigger ties in Florida year after year

Anybody else feel salty that not 1 Miami-Dade kid got an invite out of the Miami Regional?

And some people wanted Steed to be dropped

Some people just watch football also, they don't know what to look for in a player. There is a lot of different characteristics that should be taking into account for each position on the field. LB's should should first be quick from hash to hash (Steed's shuttle was 4.33 today). The next thing they should possess is a high football IQ and the ability to recognize plays instantly and use their quickness to react. This will get them past a slow OL all day. Third should be strength, the ability to run through a would be blocker and make the play. The best thing that could have happened to Steed was to miss 2015, because these extra 20 pounds just made him that much more unstoppable. He tells me that he doesn't want any handouts and he knows his offer came from the previous staff but he is determined to earn his keep!!!

not saying one strategy is better than the other, but in comparing Steed's mindset to nick robert's , you see a complete contrast. will be interesting to watch how their recruitments play out.

I also posted this in the Blades thread.

Al Blades Jr. always performs on the big stage, and Sunday brought more of the same. The 6-foot, 170-pound lockdown cornerback talked recruiting before his stellar performance, making a point that he likes the new staff at Miami (FL), and has talked with defensive backs coach Mike Rumph. The instinctive cornerback said he looks at the Mark Richt era as, “a new beginning.” While many consider the Hurricanes the heavy favorite, Florida State will provide tough competition along with UCLA and South Carolina. Miami and Florida State will likely receive spring visits.

That's okay, I'm not worried one bit about what TOS say as far as who's leading for him. I am in the know with this kid much more than any recruiting site, and I'm telling you we're a MAJOR player for him. Trust me, we take care of business on-field and watch how his tune changes publicly. There's no way we lose him to a Clemson if we're eye to eye with them competitively.

I would be shocked to see a Blades playing for FSU! I just can't imagine that ever happening, too much history there with that family. Would be about the same as Mike Irvin Jr. playing at FSU.

And yet UF QB commit Jake Allen ended up getting an invite to the Elite 11 semis.

Only because who he is committed to. Lucky to have great WRs around him at STA

He's saying that about a kid committed to Florida and a kid who just got offered by Arkansas (Colombi).
