The Opening 2016 | WR vs DB 1 on 1's

Man after playing with that tua kid from Hawaii juedy might want to go to Bama just to play with that kid.

Maybe I'm wrong he didn't look elite on tv. Right now we're getting Alabama scraps . McFarland , Juedy .. < I ? Those two common sense level . I ? . McFarland they don't really want a small back they sill just take you so others don't get you. Hart comes to mind on this one . Juedy they run the ball 90% of the time and if they land three wr will you see the ball ?

Scraps? Those two are highly rated and they are recruiting them hard, unless i read your post wrong, as for the running the ball a lot with them they had amari cooper and julio jones come out from there, and have ridley making plays all over the place so they do have a passing game

Not for 3 elite Wrs in one class . Yes scraps what ever Bama don't want we have a chance on .

LMAO scraps thats funny
The kids are good but when you what Bama can't take you was the second choice .

Huh?

Jeudy is a 5* talent. That boy is good!

If Grimes is a 5* talent, then Jeudy is a 4*. There's nothing wrong with that either.

There can't be more than one 5* receiver?

Most certainly, but Grimes is on a different level. Thus what I said.

Jeudy is an elite WR. Grimes is the best WR I have seen in a very long time. If there were a way to get a 6th star he'd get it. Dynamic in every way plus with elite measurables

Grimes is so polished. He doesn't do any of that goofy improvised route running garbage that a lot of the kids do, where they break off their route if they're covered and run something completely different just to get open. The kid just runs crisp routes, uses great body position, separates, etc.

I agree that Grimes is on another level right now, and not trying to say Jeudy is better, just stating that Jeudy is also a 5* talent.

I also think that it's a pretty big indictment on Jake Allen, dude had how many 4* and 5* receivers and still didn't put up huge numbers.

Jeudy isn't elite. He's inconsistent. But will contribute day 1.

I remember Andre Johnson dropping a wide open TD pass in a HS all star game, it happens

Johnson also dropped a number of balls here. Right after his final season and before the draft, he was determined to have some eyesight issues, they were corrected, and the rest is history.

Jeudy dropped two easy passes back-to-back.

It happens though. Nothing to worry about IMO. Some of our best players have done the same thing. (most recently Hankerson, Graham and Dorsett)

Grimes will be the next monster S FL recruit to leave and blow up elsewhere. The disturbing trend started when Folden tried to strong arm Amari Cooper into a quick verbal commitment and turned him off.

Cooper was a layup for UM, and Folden blew it. Since then, we've seen a cavalcade of stars leave the area.

Sinorice Moss is another example. Had horrible hands in hs and for his first 2 years at Miami. Improved it enough to become a second round pick.

Makes too many tough catches (very good hand eye coordination) and shows enough talent for me to believe that he has the ability to improve it.

Jeudy dropping a couple passes is meaningless. He's constantly wide open. Unless he has natural stone hands and is constantly dropping the ball, he's another can't miss guy.

Well you better get prepared I don't think he's going to Miami .

Trevon Grimes looks like a Mike Evans clone.

Jerry Jeudy gets off the line of scrimmage very well and appears to have unbelievable agility and route running ability.

Devonta Smith looked average.

Toss up between Jeudy and Grimes.

I posted the same comparison about Grimes a while back when some poster tried to discredit him (only b/c it doesn't look like he's coming here)...Mike Evans is a great comparison.

I saw him at STA camp before his freshman year and it was obvious that he was something special. The kid is on a different level from an athletic standpoint and then from the standpoint of running routes, adjusting to the ball, catching the ball and knowledge of the game.
