So what happens to the IC when DJ Johnson transfers to Washington? Since he clearly counted for the 2017 class, doesn’t that mean we can apply one more of the early entrees back to 2017?
The only example of a kid that signed with Miami that may not count is Key Hester as I believe the counter starts at time of enrollment in class and he never enrolled but he did step foot on greentree from what I remember (1 day).
This is yet another reason to ignore the NOI as they don't use I.C. until a kid enrolls. Imagine I.C. getting used for kids that can't qualify.
malik curry was given a scholarship? not sure i remember reading that anywhere. he was still being referred to as a walk-on in articles this past fall. also, he's no longer listed on the 2018 roster. was there news of his transferring?
I guess he didn’t get a ship. If he didn’t, not concerned if he transfers. This just goes to show how hard it is to track ICs.
very difficult. no doubt ive missed one or two along the way. or possibly counted one that shouldnt. kiy Hester and latwaan anderson were both question marks for me. i believe hester practiced, so thats why he counts. walk-ons being granted scholarships are also kinda sketchy with tracking.
Yeah, I don't think Hester is a counter as he wasn't enrolled. The counters are for financial aid and that wasn't needed until late August or September.
latwaan anderson, didn't he come on a track ship? If so, he never played in a game so he does use an I.C.
