Greg Roman would be an amazing hire.
Anywhere that guy goes his offense have been pretty good and he incorporate a lot of different running elements, which is his focus.
Like if Mario can pull that one off, I think that be the best hire possible. He just isn't a big CFB guy, so recruiting might be the challenge on that end.

Yes XO’s wise he’d be a great hire, as far as him recruiting, we’d have to find out. But if his offense is good how well will he need to recruit

Y'all worried about Mullen's recruiting while Mario just pulled a top-10 class after going 5-7. (with only a couple people on staff that are good recruiters)

Mullen would have us humming on offense and that would recruit itself.

The best recruiter is W’s. Like many have said, we just had our worst season in decades, and pulled our highest class in decades. We need coaches. Some of the concerns that Inday points out regarding Mullen are valid, but I guess his ceiling as an OC and simply being handed over the reigns of the offense outweighs those concerns IMO. We wouldn’t automatically be at a disadvantage in the x and o’s department at Kickoff like we have been for the better part of the last 20 years.

It won’t happen, but just my .02. I was screaming for him a year ago, and it’d still be 2x better than whoever we will end up getting most likely.

If that's true and Cristobal turned Mullen away, then someone needs to go the Hecht and pick up Cristobal, drive him to Cape Canaveral, stick him in a SpaceX rocket, and launch him into the sun.

Mullen is so far ahead of everyone being rumored. The guy is an offensive genius and his brand of football would actually fit with what Mario wants to do too.

Mullen also has enough credentials that he can stand up to Mario and tell him to STFU about offensive stuff. Idk if Mario is going to be hands off with someone unproven or in his pedestrian coaching tree.

I would be shocked if Mullen took the job though.
