A lot more which is really sad.The buyout wouldn't be prohibitive. We paid more to hire Manny back from Temple.

I trust Mike Ryan, I believe this is Candle. 247 reporting Candle was unlikely makes me believe it more.
Take Candle in a heartbeat *with whoever he wants* as Co-OC/WR Coach.
Just my pennies though.
His record def isn’t as flawless as you think. See: BOB this yearOr Saban knows more about OCs than this board does….
It’s serious, but is it exclusivethings are getting serious in negotiations
How long he been ND OC. Also i will never discount what the fans who watch these coaches think and feel about these coaches that come over. Michigan man were sounding the alarm about Gattis. Bama man were sounding it about Enos and apparently Temple....never knew they had fans, were sounding it about No D. So if your wife want him gone, please dont bring him here Mario.Wifey is an ND fan and is praying that Bama hires Rees.
Take that for whatever it's worth, LOL.
As long as he doesn't bring his QB with himMike McDaniel could resign from the Phins tomorrow to be our OC and heads would be ****ed still screaming for Joe Brady
One thing to point out with metrics like F+, SOS is going to significantly impact teams like Toledo. If you look at their raw metrics (not opponent adjusted), they’ve had some very good offenses with Candle. 2013-18 they finished top 27 in points/drive every year. They’re being penalized for playing lower level competition, but their own talent level is also on par with those same teams. So I would say it’s really just an even playing field.
They aren’t being “penalized.”
You could play that schedule and still have a high ranking. They are just being put in context. As they should, and every team should.
According to F+, Toledo was the best team in the MAC this year, coming in at 78. And outside of Toledo, there wasn’t a single team whose defense ranked inside the Top 80. With half the conference being outside of the Top 100.
They aren’t being “penalized.” What F+ is saying is that, in 2022, when every team you played had an absolute sh*t defense, even an average offense would have done way better.
But that isn’t true every year. In 2020 Western Michigan‘s offense finished 10th in the country in F+. The analytics didn’t “reward” Western Michigan. It simply put it in context.
Toledo is number 1 in the 247 Composite talent ranking in the MAC every year. They have a talent advantage over most of the teams they play.
Okay. Napier, Fisher, Locksley, McElwain, Daboll?
Just tell us . . . will the board be excited or revolt? LOL.things are getting serious in negotiations
Nah. The board coaches told me this dude sucks and Mario was a clueless halfwit for even considering him.
Not gonna lie - Bama hiring Rees is definitely weird.
Definitely not the kind of pick for a team who supposedly can get whoever they want, especially after Grubb turned them down.
