Since the playoffs era started in 2014, can anyone tell me of the 32 teams (duplicates included), how many ran the kind of balls-to-the-wall offense/air-raid type of approach that many posters want as the philosophy of our next OC?

I am not asking rhetorically, because I haven’t done the research.

It’s a legitimate question.

Strange coincidence that some of the names being leaked or talked about by the media have been tied to some of our rivals.
Nuss, Taggart, Streeter, Johns, Johnson.

So there's the potential that we hire the guy who was fired by the team we want to uproot from the top of the ACC? If that isn't an *** backwards hire, I don't know what else to say. That's a mighty big chance for Mario to take and would tell me one thing. He got turned down many many times.
We're rebuilding, it makes sense that we cant go out and hand pick an elite OC. Just got to find someone that's a good recruiter and can run a good enough offense. It's not like we're winning a natty anytime soon. Stack talent the next couple of years while winning 8-10 games a year and once the offense is loaded top tier OCs will be begging to come here. Believe it

What? I thought Mario was going to embrace the Air Raid?

Good thing he's sticking with pro style because Cristobal knows what it takes to win.
I found a whole article about his philosophy.

por favor, cajones means big boxes ("caja" means box, the "on" means large and the "es" means plural).

you mean COJONES as in big ballz. am i correct?

btw, thank you for your military service.
RSA - did you see or should I say, listen to the Orange Bowl Boys and how they talked about your revelation regarding Brian Johnson from Joe’s - but they gave credit to their discourse for deciphering the Dennis Smith tweet?

Bull****. Those guys stole “Gator Tears” for their OBB Board and now they didn’t credit you for the Brian Johnson revelation.

Stop listening to that clown show. Roman knows ball. The other 2 are ***aloons.

If you go by what Gattis was getting paid, we can and have now offered a top 5 / 6 assistant coaching salary in all of college football. There are no excuses for what you can't get with that kind of financial firepower. That is elite pay, more than all but a literal handful of coaches.

It doesn't matter if we're rebuilding or not. You see people take dead end jobs for far less money yearly. Money is almost always the determining factor in a hire. The rebuild also gives them some time to build it up.

It isn't like we're in a recruiting dead zone. Far from it. So you'll get talent if you produce results. In particular when we've got a decent to good NIL game reportedly. Buy who you want and I say buy because that's what it is.

So if we've got an elite salary to offer, the talent pool to recruit from, and the NIL game is on point, then there's only one thing left if you can't get a top guy to take the job. Mario, he's the only thing left as an excuse. It's obvious he's not good at identifying the right guy (sorry, that's not hard) or he's got his vision and is hard to work with as an OC.

Guess we'll see what happens. There is no excuse not to land a top OC'er. None, zero, as everything is in place to make it happen.
