Agree with this take. I’m not sure why some view it as such a stretch that he would take the Miami OC job. I’m not even sure that I would call it a step back to go from NFL QB Coach to P5 OC, especially if he turns our offense around.
I don’t want to believe so I’m not hurt again but you and others are making some pretty compelling arguments.

I also love the line where he says something to the effect of “I’ve never heard these songs before, I don’t even know what key they are in”, and I think Jerry turns to him and says “aren’t you Wynton’s son? Just listen.”

Absolutely magical night of music and possibly the show I listen to more than any other (along with the Fillmore East show with that bad *** dark star, other one, love light combination).

I have also always wondered if anyone on here was at the ****s Picks Volume 3 show from Pembroke Pines in 1977. With all of the ticket stub and old concert sidebars, that show has never been mentioned.

Check out the Dark Star from the Miami Arena in 1989 while we're being local about it. Please find me another version that melted more faces than that one and I'll crown you. Got out of hand.

Awesome my wife’s fam all lives there. I’m up there all the time. Did you do bat factory tour?

There’s an awesome restaurant called The Silver Dollar if you get a chance to visit not far from downtown

Slugger tour is a worthy stop for sure! I was “organizing” my bourbon this morning and actually had all the bottles I was just describing in my hands thinking about the last trip.

Yeah, I think there’s a storm brewing.

I think there ought to be a thread set up where anyone that thinks they know anything can state who they have heard or know is the new OC.

Then when the guy is actually hired ( if this day does ever come) we can weed out the guys that have no clue so we know who not to believe when Mario has to make his next hire.

@PIPO
My god is this the most violence ever experienced on a public forum?
This is beyond a Showdown!!! To me, this is what would be on the list as #1 in the list of the “Hierarchy of Tension.”

The previous high also involved CIO which led to the Titanic Event next Friday on 2/17 and that was #8, a Melee.

@RVACane @No_Fly_Zone @JD08 @IndayArtHauz @JeddTheFisch

I have declared this, for the first time ever at CiS and the #1 above:

#5 - Battle
#4 - War
#3 - Armageddon
#2 - All **** Breaking Lose

#1 - The Malice at The Palace:

I did not do the bat factory tour but that would be badass. Just crammed a lot of bourbon drinking in this week with the group

All the food spots we’ve hit so far have been great

That’s great! And yes, reasonableness has to prevail at some price points!

When we were at OF, they had the Presidential; EW had the 12 year red bottle and at Michters they sold a 2 pack at the end of the regular small batch bourbon and the toasted.
I didn’t realize you had to book the OF Presidential/Birthday tour so far in advance so I dropped the ball there

That place was really cool I think 1910 is my favorite “daily” bourbon

Strange as it may sound, the NFL is a much better league for green, first-time coordinators than at a big-time college football program because at the pro level the coordinator will have a larger staff to draw from. Not only will they have all the position coaches available, you will assistant position coaches, analysts, micro-coordinators for certain facets of offense and defense, plus a good mix of grey beards and young up and coming coaches...so, yes, in many ways it was easier for Dorsey to break in as first time OC at the pro level than at a UM.
That's obviously debatable. The NFL defenses are much more sophisticated and most teams don't have glaring roster deficiences. Few college teams have db talent to deal with spread offenses. That's why college scoring so much > nfl scoring.

Not saying I believe him, but why would someone with only 130 posts in a decade just show up and troll?

I totally see where you’re coming from, but brother, people do all kinds of weird ****. I’m not saying that’s the case here, but remember this is the Internet. I mean, I’m not saying that he’s not legit, I’m just being my usual skeptical self.
