The NFL is peeing on your face

Saquan and Jalen Hurts both squat 600+ lbs which is why they are so successful with the Tush Push.

First, it's the (Reggie) Bush Push. From when Reggie Bush pushed Matt Leinart into the end zone against Notre Dame.

Second, I don't need to hear any more information about how squatting 600+ pounds makes anyone so successful with a tush push.

I don’t really watch the NFL… but I kinda remember the one time they didn’t like the Chefs was when they wanted Tom Brady to win another ship. So they gave the game to Brady and must have made a deal that “hey, we’ll hook u guys up in the future if u throw this game”

Indeed indeed. The viewership and money is in Kansas City right now. Plus the extra viewership from the Swifties.

I’ll add that increase of player movement has also helped spark this change.

And the biggest culprti is crappy owners, from Cowboys to Jets to Giants and previously Redskins and a bunch mrore that I’m not mentioning. I’ve never watched, but the NFL needs a relegation system similiar to soccer.
That's a factor. None of the NFL coaches have personnel control like some did in the 1990s, and some franchises change coaches almost yearly.

Even though the coaching itself is not the problem, it's talent acquisition. Which the head coach has input on, but not final say.

The owners create churn for the sake of "doing something", when they actually rob their franchise of continuity and consistency.

Look...relegation is NEVER happening in the US. Never. Never ever.

And even for the soccer-loving dreamers who want to wax poetic about relegation, keep in mind that English soccer HAS multiple leagues in a well-organized structure that allows for relegation and promotion.

At this point in time, where would bad NFL teams be relegated? The NFL is never going to create a minor-league to which it can banish a couple of owners/franchises.

And you will never get anyone in the US to pay $6B for a franchise that can rapidly be devalued simply by losing games. It's just never going to happen.

I understand all the "good arguments" in favor of a promotion/relegation system. But it's never going to happen in any US sport. It's just not.

The games are boring because the pace is boring, I would like to see the NFL Re-Visit their roster #’s a bit because it’s obvious teams are operating at a snails pace to prevent injuries/late game fatigue/not having proper depth with only 53 men on the sidelines (not to mention if you lose a couple during the game too)

Teams are way more Prone to Dink and Dunk for 12 plays in a row and eat 8 mins off the clock then they are to go air raid/up tempo

Also from a $$$ standpoint I will never understand how the NFL believes it is better sucking off the chiefs every year like they did the patriots then it is to just naturally let each game/team determine its own destiny and whatever happens happens

As much as I hate the direction college is going in I will ALWAYS prefer it over the direction the NFL has been going in. The excitement is unmatched

Unfortunate, but completely accurate.

The US went with the owner profit model rather than the competition model. This issue underlies many of the problems the NFL was simply bound to have eventually.

I didn’t suggest it was going to happen. Just said it’s what’s needed. Two different things, lol. But the owners need to have some new skin in the game if they want to continue to invest/profit from the ATM that the NFL now is.

The only path for something like to happen would be with significant growth, which won’t happen because the supply of quality will never be what it needs to support more teams.

I’m not watching the Super Bowl and I know I am not alone. People are tired of this crap.

CFB has always been the better sport, but the NFL gets worse every year. It’s just not entertaining anymore. Unless you gamble on it, there is zero intrigue.

NFL wanted KC and Philly and that’s what they got. The rest of the country can root for a meteor to hit the stadium.
Blame the lions for blowing it lol. The two best teams made it. There’s no underlying conspiracy lol KC has been the best team with the best player all year. Once Detroit got hit with the injury bug Philly took the NFC by the neck.

NFL does a phenomenal job imo. CFB is fun but it’s also mind blowing how bad the football is sometimes. NFL is a breath of fresh air for people like me that love the chess match of football.

How come the people who know the game is rigged aren’t billionaires right now? I mean you KNOW the games were rigged for the Chiefs and Eagles, why didn’t you bet you life savings on the games? Free money, right? I mean since you all KNEW the games were rigged, right?
Because right when you're about to win money the Chiefs punter for no fing reason whatsoever runs out of the back of the end zone for a safety up by 11 on a 9.5 spread.

Almost as if it's meant to happen for the under.
