For now what if the new OC doesn’t retain him? I mean I would think he does but it’s uncertainty for Innis to think about it helps

I don’t see a position coach getting elevated to office coordinator for the first job ever as offensive coordinator at a program like Ohio State. But I could be wrong.

Day Calls plays...so he could in theory promote Hartline for the pay and title bump. Give him a few more duties in the passing game and keep his ace recruiter but they love Wilson as the OC because Day calls but Wilson is the creative guy and the one who typically finds holes.

It’s still Day’s offense. He won’t let any OC come in a fire his staff. Day will just promote from within.

I will say, out of the schools that we were hearing the most about that became vacant roughly at the same time, Cincy, FAU, Colorado, and USF, only one hasnt hired their guy and the search was real loud at one point and is now real quiet. Could be nothing, could be something.

I mean he was a Dolphin for 5 years down here. This might be the only place he would consider being that he would be familiar with the culture.
Its probably why he does so well in SFL.

Funny you say that. I was in a barbershop years ago and he was next to me getting a cut. Talking cash **** to all the barbers on who to lay money on. They told me who he was after he left and I thought the same thing you did.
