The most important position of need on defense next year...IMO

For some reason ... We never red shirt guys the right way. Like you say this why we have lack of depth in position groups. It's like we are promising players something of early playing time when we recruit them just to come, when actually it's only special teams play. Smh lol We have talent with the best of them but our development of players and improvement needs to be a little better . Skill and talent can only get you so far. Coach em and train em up!

Exactly man, this teams roster has been jacked up for years now and coach richt was on the in proccess of fixing that. When you gotta rely on to many True freshmen, you not going to far, the redshirting process began last year, coach diaz is starting early, look how strong jordan miller is playing as a redshirt freshman, i kept saying it, iit was smart to redshirt gaynor last year, he was able to get his body right to handle this season, all our o-linemen would be that much better if they could've redshirted, we only got one redshirted player on the o-line in gaynor, the rest had to play to fast and its consistently showing. Imagine how much better pope would've been had he redshirted, when you got 1 catch for a whole season, what was the point in playing.

I think the move that's being made now is to redshirt Jeremiah payton, wiggins and mallory should've definitely been redshirted. We got alot of guys that look like they redshirting this year, which is going to benefit this team Greatly come next year. Unless a True freshman is all world who cares if a guy comes in and makes a few plays every now and than. The best thing that happened to rousseau was he had to be redshirted, nesta silvera should've been to as well. But oh well, we got alot of d-linemen redshirting this year, along with avery huff at linebacker, normally when a guy comes in as a True freshman and balls out, its because he has an overall mature team around him that helps to allow that to happen. Im always looking for the the 2nd and 3rd year guys on the roster to make the biggest moves/impact.

You play the best player period.

I mean hes almost guaranteed a starting spot next year..

Brooks, McCloud/Flowe, Frierson(striker)

thats a nice LB group to come off the shaq and pink years

Not with this staff...

They'd figure out a way to keep this kid on the bench because he didn't tie his cleats the right way in Spring ball.

Doesn't matter, he's not committing to Miami under any circumstances whatsoever. He's going to Clemson or Oregon.

When was the last national top 10 recruit we even got?

I’m thinking Henderson and we kind of backed into his commitment

Something is up with our coaches and not using he players they get
You remember Shannon landing a brown who was his years version of flowe and barely playing the dude

Or Shannon under Coker getting willie and barely playing him (granted he was suspended half the time) when he was available he barely played them

Sometimes it’s not about the x and os
Sometimes u just got to let your players play

Like lingard may not run to the right hole but he’s the kind of back that will cut across field and house it

So we pray and beg for the top guys to commit but even when we get them they mostly sit

You play the best player period.

I would just add you play the best developed player, case in point, perry is definitely a better qb than rosier, but he wasnt developed mentally, so coach richt had to go with the qb who could at least run the offense and get guys in the right sets operationally. Imagine being an oc, you calling simple plays for your young qb that he should know and he dont know the answer, and you going up against solid defenses in tough spots, nobody got time for that, rosier you're back in. So now let's see what manny does, coach diaz is a smart guy, let's see if he's going to put fragile mindedness and pride over a proven winner, causevlast time i checked, Kosi put up 17 points against UVA, jw15 put up 17 points against Central Michigan, be smart manny!
