Words can't express my concern for those dealing or lost in those fires out there. Horrific event. I do appreciate your finding the little things though. When people experience loss or are down, it's those things you've gotta focus on. I hope you find many more in the days ahead.

Hey Canesinsight Community - had a horrible week - our house and everything we own was destroyed in the Palisades Fire. Was the most horrific apocalyptic experience and I was there literally watching it happen helplessly...but we'll be fine. We're better than most.

Today we get Carson Beck and my 13 year old son Shia texts me - "We got Carson Beck...It's great and the best part of my week. He's good dad." Sometimes the little things like this just make your week and you forget about all the other crap.

Go Canes - love this site and community.

PS - watch out for my son Shia - he's a QB and just got his first 2 D1 verbal offers this past month - Colorado State and Western Kentucky.

Man that's rough. Gotta be a traumatic experience. But it sounds like you and your family are OK. The house can be replaced but you surely can't. I hope you get everything back and then some with God's highest favor + blessings
